How do I setup FG 2 to roll PC stats? Is there an extension or custom dice roller?

Ruleset? (But I don't believe there is any ruleset that will roll characters) 3.5 Pathfinder won't for sure.

Okay, sorry. 5E... I was wondering if there is a mod or extension, or do I have to create my own dice roller table?

Well, I don't play 5e, but I do not believe it rolls characters.

Can you provide more info?
If you are in a 5e Campaign - go to Characters and create a new Character. Roll some dice and add the scores where they fit. Open SRD or Players Handbook and add Race and then Class.

There's the "Roll" tab in Manage Characters (player only, local character management) that tracks character generation stats. But all you really have to do is just roll the dice as normal and add these to your character.

But, Laerun, a bit more info about what you're after might help us to give you a specific answer.

There's also the "/rolld" extension which will give you 4d6 drop the lowest die.

I am using the 5e Rule-set, I am trying to roll up PC characters. I know that i can manually roll and add-in the numbers for each stat. I was just a script or mod that would populate the Stat blocks and allow you to earth rearrange or modify prior to importing into the character's stat blocks on the sheets, with selectable dice rolling methods for stat rolls.

If you go into manage characters and create a character there you can get the 4d6 drop lowest or set up point buy etc. However there is no automatic population of the stats since FG can't know how you would like your stats arrayed. (No point in FG giving you 16 STR if you are rolling a Wizard).

That would make a nice extension though...

I've never been able to get the Manage Characters section (for any ruleset) to really do anything for me in terms of rolling of attributes. It just has never seemed like it functions.

Works for me:

18485

Andraax What about the point buy? I'm not seeing that is working?

66 points, according to the CKG:

Setup: 18487
Point buy: 18488

27 points, using the 5E ruleset:

Setup: 18489
Point buy: 18490

Ok, but should it not work like this? As you can see the points are accumulating so if I pick a score of 15 it is adding up all the scores for 8-15 and coming to 31 rather than 9?

No, a score of 15 costs 9 points. Just like in my example. And it works correctly. If it costs 31 to get a score of 15, then the recommended total points of 27 would not allow you to buy the "default starting" values.

Per the 5E PHB:

You have 27 points to spend on your ability scores. The cost of each score is shown on the Ability Score Point Cost table. For example, a score of of 14 costs 7 points.

According to your setup, a score of 14 would cost 22 points. BTW, my setup is the default setup for points in the 5E ruleset. Looks like you modified yours.

Ok, I was not understanding how it should be set up. I clearly entered everything incorrectly but I see how you have done it. The first page is blank in mine by the way, I had to set everything up manually but as I say I misunderstood how to set it up. I thought that you needed to tell it that a score of 15 cost 9 points rather than 2. I can see that it does accumulate the scores but clearly the ones I entered were too high.

Weird. I've never used the 5E Manage Characters before today, and that was the way it was setup without me having to do anything.

Likewise, I've never looked at it either, at least I don't think I have. :D

Me neither, until now.
