Hello all! I am new to FG and purchased it to play Deadlands: Reloaded. I have been trying out some of the features with a couple of my players prior to actually attempting to run a campaign, and I have encountered a problem with the Card Table tool. When I open the card table and share it, the players can see the table, but can't seat themselves at it like they should be able to according to the DLR User Manual PDF from the FG wiki. Of course I can get around this by dragging their portraits onto the table myself.
A second problem occurs, however, when I deal them cards. The cards that are in their hands appear to them face down, and nothing either they or I do makes them appear face up unless I select "Make Hands Public" which displays everyone's hands to everybody else. Not ideal for poker. I saw an older thread on the forums where another user seemed to have a similar problem, and the suggested solution was to drag the player portrait directly from the top corner of the table rather than from the combat tracker. I have tried it both ways, however, and haven't had any luck.
It's very possible that I am just "doing it wrong" due to my inexperience with FG, but I have checked and double checked that the players actually have ownership of their characters, and I have followed the instructions listed in the above mentioned PDF. Has anyone else had issues with this feature? Any suggested workarounds?
