As the title suggest im new to FG, not to RPGs or cRPGs in general.
Mainly looking for long term group, but yeah any 5e games are good.
my personal goal with FG is to get a meta rp going. The level grinding is the
plot and experience grinding necessary to get flavour into what i have in mind.
For the long term group:
I have 3 different categories of toons setup currently. For meta RP purposes.
1. The Goliaths, Brother in Arms, sailor, slash, pirates. One active pirate the other is not. Hes trying to build this grand warship. (Might grow)
2. An Elvish/Dryad society with 6 toons. (Might grow)
3. Individuals that either want to prove themselves or change their life in some way or ways.
The GM doesnt get to decide anything in the 1st and 2nd group, only if those toons are acceptable or not.
This because they have assets and an ongoing story and life not related to these adventures. The GM can,
however, say "This guy is acceptable but you need to leave this or that at home".
The third group, its up to the GM. When my toons level up i rely on feat picks to get the specs working. If
thats not acceptable to the GM and ive ran out of toon options, i simply make a toon for that adventure.
Then roleplay any and all fates and asset swaps concerning that toon.
All of these toons ive tried to be as nitpicky as possible with the 5e rules creating them. Save the few toons
in the meta RP setup. If ive made an error somewhere, im happy to correct it. Im trying to learn the ropes here.
Ok, so to the toon specific specs.
Group 1:
Goliath - Natural Tendancy - Gunslinger - lvl 1
Goliath - Collosal Destroyer - Fighter - lvl 1
Group 2:
Wood Elf - Druid (summons) - lvl 1
High Elf - Wizard - (nuke) - lvl 1
Wood Elf - Cleric (undead hunter) - lvl 1
Wood Elf - Rogue (stealth) - lvl 1
Half-Dryad - Healer - lvl 1
Half-Dryad - Hunter Variant (sniper assassin) - lvl 1
(Ya a High Elf among Wood Elfs...could happen...).
Group 3:
Dwarf - Fighter - lvl 1
Human - Cleric, Pirate healer - lvl 1 (Not accepted by the Goliaths just yet).
Human - Rogue - lvl 1
Forest Gnome - Ranger - lvl 1
Human Variant, Fire Giant - Barbarian - lvl 1
Ghost, Mindful Spirit - Cryomancer - lvl 1
Forest Gnome - Sorceror - lvl 1
Human - Paladin - lvl 1
Human - Cleric, healer - lvl 1
Gemini, Emerald Bloodline - Artificer - lvl 1
That would be it.
I have Discord and TS3, no web cam.
