I am attempting to play the demo via Steam and it is not working. When I install the demo and click on the game to play it, the icon pops up in the dock but no game window opens. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and also verifying the files for it. Neither has worked.
Then, I tried to install the game using the pinned post here on the forum and that is not working either. I keep getting different errors every time. I have tried it 3-4 times just tonight and nothing is working.
Finally, a friend sent me an install with Wineskin. I installed that and it loads but when I delete their key from the settings (so I can just use the demo, like with Steam) the game asks for a license key and doesn't launch.
Is there a license key for a demo version that I can use in this instance?
Is there something in the Steam install that I am missing?
