Anyone else miss the feel of real dice when playing? I know I do.

I wonder if there is a way SmiteWorks could integrate real dice with their product? I'm thinking like a USB dice box that you roll in, from there a cheap camera snaps a pic that is then interpreted by FG. You could even choose to save the image of that nat 20 rolled at disadvantage (happened to me last night and I took a screenshot!). I don't think the technology would be very advanced, there have been bar-code reading apps around for a long time now, but I'm no developer.

I'd kickstart something like this for sure!

You can already use the manual die roll option to input the rolls of your physical dice into FG. See the manaul for details; https://www.fantasygrounds.com/filelibrary/FantasyGroundsUserManual.pdf

Go into options in FG and enable "Dice Manual Entry". Now as soon as you make an attack, skill check etc it will open a dialog where you can choose to roll virtual dice or enter the value you rolled with a real dice.

I'll pile on to say welcome and here is info on the Fantasy Grounds Manual. https://www.fantasygrounds.com/filelibrary/FantasyGroundsUserManual.pdf It's available under the help menu from the home page, but seems like no one ever finds it.
