Hi everyone, after a couple sessions with the new group, we feel that we can bring in another crew member, with my last post I did gain some interest in people joining after it was already full, I have decided to start a new post as those players may have already found other games since their message to me.

If you are interested in joining our ragtag group, please tell me a character concept and a bit of a backstory

The Story so Far:

Our adventure started on an old mining station between the systems containing Mirial and Thule called Telkin Station, the mining station itself converted over to a refueling and resupply station after the large asteroid belt around the station dried up of rare materials many years ago.

On board the station, several souls, who did not know each other. Were to be part of a larger picture, that they yet have not seen. Arriving onboard the station was the Bounty Hunter with his ship, The Iron Wave, after a failed bounty mission that resulted in part of his crew being killed. On the nearby planet of Thule, a viral outbreak causing individuals to lose control of their muscles, causing sporadic seizures until death gained the attention of Chiss Medical Doctor, who was onboard the station with blood samples to study the virus.

Just arriving also was a Human Scholar who has a passion of searching out new species to study in the galaxy, and last is an actual resident of the station, a Droid Trader, seeking to find answers to why his master has gone missing months ago.

Several souls, with not a care in the galaxy for each other, until the event. A large crippling explosion ripped throughout the station while our unlucky heroes were passing each other on a promenade in the station, the explosion tore Telkin Station in two, the lower section containing our heroes, now drifted throughout open space, separated from the hangers where the ships were. The power failing, and open pockets of the station being exposed to the vacuum of space, the Bounty Hunter severely wounded from explosive debris, our heroes only had moments to learn to trust each other to escape.

With haste, they found an as of yet launched escape pod. The Droid Vi, spacewalked to adjust the thrusters on the pod to allow travel to the separated hanger sections, while the Doctor Lesandros attended to the wounded Bounty Hunter Vareen. The Scholar Sadr was attempting to guide the actions of Vi, as well as help carry Vareen. With a happy thumbs up from Vi, the escape pod launched into the depths...only to learn that Vi was not a mechanic, and his attempt at adjusting the vector controls of the escape pod resulted in the control to be reversed and chaotic, fortunately he was tethered onto the pod by scrap cabling which he tied to himself and the pod. Dangling behind the erratic shooting pod, as it smashed into debris and spinning wildly in space, Vareen was able to eventually gather the control and bring the pod shooting into the hanger holding his own ship, while the unfortunate Vi came flying in after and smashing to a stop on the pod.

Vareen's ship was in the process of being hijacked by the surviving black market thugs on board the station, a brief fight resulted the dispatch of the thugs, but not before a stray bolt blasted Vi into droid unconsciousness. The Iron Wave blasts off into space from the exploding station when an Imperial Star Destroyer jumped in system, with the promise of rescue efforts, the surviving ships went and gathered near open space with the approach of the Imperial war machine, when it opened fire destroying all the surviving ships from Telkin Station.

Our heroes, seeing the "rescue" from the Empire, took off into the asteroid belt in pursuit of a wing of Tie Fighters. After some close calls, with fire being traded back and forth, The Iron Wave escaped into hyperspace. With questions on their mind, why did the Empire attack when saying they were there to help rescue efforts, but most startling. During their escape onto their ship onboard the station, they witnessed a pale white being, with an unusual energy sword, moving a triangular object in midair to his hand, black market bodies surrounding him.

With damage to their ship, they traveled to Thule. Where they were greeted by broadcasts speaking of Telkin Station, how the station was the result of a terrorist attack, the Imperial Star Destroyer Vectus jumped into the system to find no survivors to rescue...but for the lone ship belonging to the terrorists...The Iron Wave.

Here is a link to the last session if you want an idea of how we play, it starts with the escape from the star destroyer to arriving at Thule, and seeing the result from Vi's obligation coming up.

Hurske ! Good to see you DMing Star Wars again.
So many fond memories of the last game I played with you.
Would have loved to play if this was a few hours earlier, but the time is a bit too late for me :(
