Details of your scenario: Your band of characters begins the Serpent’s Skull Adventure Path as passengers on a cargo ship called the Jenivere, headed south to Sargava. The voyage promises not only to bring your characters together as you face adversity, but also to set you on a path into the very heart of one of Golarion’s most feared regions in search of wealth, fame, and ancient secrets.

Traveling Aboard the Jenivere, a ship making the journey from Magnimar to Eleder. After weeks of time aboard the comfortable vessel all the you know at least the following about your ship and shipmates.
The Jenivere is a large merchant ship, a Wyvern-class vessel commonly used by the Inner Sea nations for trade, exploration, and even war, valued for its combination of seaworthiness and capacity for carrying numerous passengers. Wyvern-lass ships have made the dangerous journey to Azlant, Arcadia, and even around the southern tip of Garund, but the Jenivere and her crew run less perilous voyages. For the past several years, Captain Alizandru Kovack has made the western run between Magnimar to the north and Eleder to the south and then back with few complications, despite the fact that his route carries him through waters controlled by the piratical Free Captains of the Shackles, brushes with the eternal winds of the Eye of Abendego, and into periodic conflicts with the Nidalese navy. Although Captain Kovack’s crew appreciate this record, the baseless fear that the Jenivere has robbed luck’s coffers one too many times lies heavy on the hearts of many.
While the Jenivere is a merchant ship, primarily concerned with delivering goods to and from Sargava, she’s traditionally kept several compartments open to take on paying passengers. This trip is no exception. You all number among these passengers, along with six other travelers aboard the vessel. You have spent some time aboard the Jenivere, and have at least passing familiarity with these others making the passage to Sargava, and a few notable members of the Jenivere’s crew.

Captain Alizandru Kovack (Ah-li-ZHAN-drew KOE-vac): A handsome, sturdy man of slightly more than average height, the Jenevire's master strode her deck with a proud rolling gait and steered her with the sure hand of a sailor with uncounted years of experience behind his hooded grey eyes, always aware of the slightest imperfection in his beloved ship's performance, or her crew. During the voyage he seemed to have formed a relationship with Ieana and the two were often together. Sometimes they strolled the deck together after dusk, or she accompanied him to the wheel when he was conning the ship. Her hand often reached out to touch or caress him, and she was quite affectionate to him beyond all other people, embracing him or linking arms. While he was tender and mindful of her, often calling her 'dear' the crew was somewhat restless as he appeared to have little time for them any more and his discipline had become harsher and his temper shorter with them as he spent less and less time with them and more with his partner.

https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=18169
First Mate Alton Devers (Al-ton De-VEERS): The bosun, or first mate of the Jenevire Alton was a tall, dark man of impressive musculature and even more impressive and indomitable will, his loyalty to Captain Kovack was unquestioned, and he often provided a foil to the captain's sometimes arrogant and arbitrary style of command with his easy-going manner and genuinely friendly manner with everyone, serf, staff and superior alike. He smiled readily, his white teeth contrasting strikingly against the dark skin of his face and hairless head.

https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=18170
Cook Vathel Cormysen (VAR-thel COR-my-sen): An outspoken and opinionated Varisian on the wrong side of his youth with shaven bald, he wore a grey smock and was not often seen outside his domain, the Jenevire's galley. A perfect counter to Captain Alizandru Kovack, he was as thin, short, quiet and temperamental as Kovack was the reverse of all four. They were alike in their miserly attention to the ship's supplies, and it was rumored that not only did the captain intentionally supply the minimum amount for the thin, unvarying gruel and soup served each day, Vathel wouldn't know how to cook anything else anyway.

https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=18171
Ieana of Korvosa (EYE-een-a): Boarded at Magnimar, Varisia. She travelled there from [Korvosa] where she acquired most of her study materials, which are various esoteric tomes, charts, papers and journals of the Thassalonian empire, and like scholarly works. Ieana was a tall, shapely woman, with a mass of tangled and snarled red locks, swathed in enveloping crimson robes and favoring brightly colored scarves. Her angular, narrow face was not unattractive to the eye, but was rather flat-faced with a broad, strong nose. She spoke little and always with downcast eyes. Her voice was low and modulated, but has a strange whistling tone to certain sibilant sounds. Perhaps she had a cleft palette? A Knowledge DC10 check for anyone familiar with Varisia reveals she speaks Varisian with a strange accent for that country. It's widely rumored and accepted as fact that she and Captain Alizandru Kovack were lovers. Soon after boarding, she moved into his cabin and spent most of the day there, studying. She came out on deck very rarely, mostly after nightfall. She said the bright light hurt her eyes, accustomed to reading ancient tomes in dim light. At night, suggestive moans, groans and bumping noises hint that their relationship was not a platonic one.

Aerys Mavato (AIR-is Mar-VAR-toh): Boarded Port Peril, The Shackles Aerys is a trim, athletic half-elven woman with short dark hair and piercing blue eyes. She dresses in tightly-fitted leather and favors dark colors and tricorn hats. You have never seen her with a weapon, sadly though, you have also never seen her fully sober. She provoked a fight with crewman within an hour of boarding, beating him senseless with her bare hands. Afterwards she spent most of the voyage in a drunken stupor in her cabin, or recovering enough for the next drunken spree.

https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=18160
Gelik Aberwhinge(GEH-lick Abber-winge) Boarded Magnimar, Varisia Gelik is a spry, energetic gnome with blond hair and a neat goatee. He dresses like a noble, in impeccable fashion, quality and cleanliness at all times. "If you can't take the time to dress up properly, no-one will take what you say seriously - and they'd be right not to!" Only the ink stains on his fingers break the impression of a gnomish nobleman. "If you don't have ink stains on your fingers, no-one will take your writing seriously - and they'd be right not to!"

https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=18161
Ishirou (ISH-ee-roo): Boarded at Bloodcove, Mwangi Expanse Ishirou is a rugged, fairly old Tian man with graying hair tied back in a ponytail and a perpetually scruffy beard. His clothing and equipment is well cleaned and maintained, but obviously of low quality. The exception is a beautifully-crafted katana (an exotic Tian weapon) the he spends a great of time and effort maintaining in perfect and pristine condition. It can be noted that it has an unusual snake sigil decoration on the back of the pommel. Calm, placid, prone to silence and poetry. He used to do tia chi and sword form practice on deck at dusk. He was one of the few passengers allowed to wear his sword on board at all times.

https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=18162
Jask Derindi (Jarsk De-RIN-dee): Boarded at Corentyn, Cheliax. Jask is a middle-aged plain-looking Garundi man with hair starting to grey and watery eyes. When the party first met him, all he had is tattered clothes and [Chelish] [secret service manacles] around his wrists. A sorrowful and silent man, the party only saw him when he was escorted around the deck just after dawn for his daily exercise. He was allowed to speak, but the crew had orders to avoid 'unnecessary fraternizing with the prisoner so encounters were brief. The crew mostly sympathized with Jask and tried to slip him extra rations and more time on deck, but only when Captain Alizandru Kovack and the Bosun Alton Devers are not around to see this.

https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=18164
Sasha Nevah (Sarcha Neevarr)Boarded at Ilizmagorti, Mediogalti Island: Sasha has tousled reddish-blonde hair and mischievous green eyes that sparkle with whichever emotion she is brimming with at the moment. She is missing the small finger of her left hand - an unusual wound for someone so young. She bears a large tattoo of the crossed arms of the Red Mantis between her shoulder blades. She wears low-backed tops, almost as though flouting the forbidden symbol defiantly. A young woman seemingly premeditating violence, she stalks with fluid grace up and down angrily, tapping her feet impatiently. When not annoyed she amuses herself with intricate games of cat's cradle. She's happy to be distracted by chatter, but refuses to speak in detail about her past, where she's been and and where she's going. She can be provoked by talking about Chelaxian politics - she has much to say about the actions of the Andoran throne and the diabolic army.

Our brave adventures woke to a being stranded on a beach (shipwrecked) and one of their companions trying to be dragged out to sea as food from the local nasties. Though they nearly lost their lives saving him they dispatched the wretched sea creatures and gathered to figure out what happened but left with only memories of a storm and their last meal together things still remain unanswered. They spotted the wreck of their ship the Jenivere not far away and went to search it for supplies. They found one boat absent and the other had been smashed in the rocks where it was tied off to the ship. They found some supplies but had to overcome a larger then man sized sea scorpion to be able to take it back with them. Several handy potions acquired as well as materials to make life here more livable (canopies, rope and plenty of wood and even a few shovels). They rested the night after foraging and bringing back meat from the scorpion. To the delight, the Fighter had more up his sleeve then just huge muscles and whipped up a soup and some sort of island like bread and made a feast of it. Everyone kept prodding him why he hadn't been cooking on the ship instead of its cook and the meals he prepared. The adventures worked with the 5 other passengers but could not convince them to go out adventuring to look for what was around as they had a deep fear of the jungle, the rumors of cannibals and the haunted undead rumored to move about on the island, not to mention the wilds had all measures of possible maladies and terrible diseases. So the 4 adventures took a hardy jaunt to the west knowing there wasn't much to be expected but wanting to make sure nothing was missed as they planned for their trip to the southern part of the island and the lighthouse rumored to have once been operating there. They know its going to be a long trip but that trip will begin tomorrow (next game session).

There are three active players having played thus far:

- Shenrock the reborn, a Samsaran Wizard reborn to his magics and ready to adventure once more. His control of the Art has proven two opponents demise and he doesn't seem to be ad-versed to adding more to that number.
- Nijenna the natural, Aasimar Bard with songs you can lose time and care in the world just listening to her melodies, not to mention her Dervish dance abilities that befuddle her enemies.
- Alexander Gaines, Crewman and ships Master of Arms (and a fine chef as well). This brute force of human skill and training has masterfully defended the line whenever an enemy arose. His power and skill has rendered his enemies dead or dying quickly and efficiently.
- Now we need you good friends, add your name to the legacy of this fine campaign

room for 2-3 more robust adventures.
If your up for some great adventure please feel free to join us. You don't need any pathfinder experience and even better ...you don't need to purchase anything to play pathfinder ...not 1 cent. Pathfinder is very much like Dungeons and Dragons (its background came from writing material for AD&D). Feel free to contact me thru this forum, a private message or apply on the calendar linked at the top of this forum. I'll respond promptly and we can work on getting you into the game for next session. New to pathfinder? We accept you with arms wide open and blank character sheets and one on one help as far as you want/need it. I'm confident you will enjoy your experience :)

Have 3 active players (5 requested to join but have not played or completed characters yet). So I'm open to 2-3 more and the first ones to complete character generation with me and show up on Sunday morning get the seat.

We now have 6 players so I'm all out of seats right now but will update if openings come available further in this forum post and on the main initial posting on page one. Thanks to all and see you on the next campaign.

This campaign is now starting its second module which takes place in the Mawangi Jungle. The player that was doing the trapping stuff for the group has been a no-show for 2+ weeks so we are looking for a replacement.

Party currently consists of the following 4th level characters:

Dervish Bard - Aasimar
Wizard (Evocator) - Elf
Fighter(Tank) - Human
Fighter/Paly (reach melee) - 1/2 elf
Oracle (Healbot/slinger) - Halfling

See original posting for guidelines needed to generate the character (but advance it to level 4). I'm often on the Fantasy Grounds Teamspeak server lingering in the Pathfinder room as JerryRig. Teamspeak connection information is in the original post as well.

Here´s my character, looking forward to sunday!

July 9th, 2017, 17:16
We have a vacancy in our Serpent's Skull campaign if anyone is interested. Currently all 4th level characters consisting of:

Bard (Dervish Dancer)
Fighter (Tank)
Wizard (Evocation specialist)
Ranger (Riding Mount Halfling Archer)
Fighter/Paladin (Reach/Melee)
& a NPC Oracle (Healer!!)

Been having issues with attendance with 1-2 players in a session so thinking allowing another in would likely make for 4-5 players a session consistently. If interested get with me on Teamspeak and we can talk about the adventure and see if we make a good fit. You basically could play any class because the party has most bases already covered. Catch me on the FG teamspeak (TS) server (info for TS on first page of this posting as is the calendar and everything else you might need to know for character generation.
