5e: Traps Revisited from Unearthed Arcana (DMs Guild)

Dear folks!

I implemented the Unearthed Arcana article "Traps Revisited" (https://dnd.wizards.com/articles/unearthed-arcana/traps-revisited) into a FG module with appropriate NPC-sheets to use the introduced new traps and uploaded it on the DMs Guild for free use.

Also it should be noted that you cannot use the D&D logos, only the DM Guild logo. You might want to read the guidelines for posting on the DMsG (https://support.dmsguild.com/hc/en-us/categories/202531048-DMs-Guild-General-Information) to learn what is and is not allowed.

I am ignorant about 5e. Is this unearthed arcana the 3.5 stuff or something written for 5e?

Written for 5E. WotC calls their play test/beta material Unearthed Arcana now. They put it out so that they can get feedback and say that DMs can allow it or not as they want, but that it is not "official" play material.

I see. Hey, regarding dmsguild am I just too stupid to find it or is that strictly for 5e and older D&D material? I could not find a Pathfinder section

DMsG is only for 5E. It is a portal for fan made content that allows the use of some of the Wizard's IP in the fan made content. Whereas teh OGL/SRD combo allows publication of 5E compatible content, it does not allow you to use names, places, or other IP (such as specific monsters). DMsG allows you to use much of that info (but no artwork/maps).

DMsG is really just a store inside DriveThruRPG.com, but with a different UI and rules.

K, got that about Licensing and further use. I'll be aware of this and change the title-image. Besides: I searched the recently released UA-Module for the traps in there, but don't find it.

Hope there will be no punishment, 'cause I only give it for free.

If you correct it, I doubt Wizard or OBS will ever notice. By the time anyone were to ever notice or make a complaint it will already be fixed :)

I was pretty sure Nick said he put traps in there. Not as NPC's though, just as reference material maybe? Not sure, haven't had time to look myself.
