OK So I have been trying to get this to work to Zero success.

So a Spell/Ability adds Die damage for a period.
I create the spell
Add an Effect
> in this case DMG: 1d4 electrical
Drop the effect on a character

In theory on the characters next hit it should roll and extra 1d4 to add to the damage?
This doesn't happen.

IF I create a flat damage (ie DMG: +1 electrical) that gets added fine, just not dice damage.

I assume I'm missing something here? Or do die rolls just not work in effects?

The problem is just a case of spelling. It should be "electricity" instead of "electrical".

I have done some testing...

DMG: 1d4
DMG: 1d4 cold
DMG: 1d4 fire
DMG: 1d4 acid
DMG: 1d4 electricity
DMG: 1d4 sonic
DMG: 1d4 force

All of the above works. There are more damage types, but these are the ones i tested.

EDIT: Oh, i missed you are new to the forums, welcome. Hope you will find them as friendly and helpful as i did :)
