This is probably another obvious question, but I can't figure out how to assign a token to a Human in Deadlands.

Thanks.

There is a small circular space to the left of the name on both Human and Critter detail records. However, you will not be able to change the token for humans or critters from the Marshal's Handbook, as these are read-only records. With the migration of Savage Worlds to use the CoreRPG layering system and features, there are still a few items to migrate including the lock symbol to let users know when records are read-only. I've passed this on to the community developer that just took over the Savage Worlds line.

Any human/critter you create yourself will not be affected. Also, you can drag and drop the link (circular bullet hole icon to the left of the name in the main list and the record details) back onto the human/critter list to create a copy of the human/critter, which is local to your campaign and full editable.

On a final note, any human or critter added to the combat tracker which does not have a token will be automatically assigned a letter token. You can replace this token by dragging a new token onto the token in the combat tracker.
