I got the Fantasy grounds from Steam. i did a search but didn't find a ready answer for this question: what is the difference between Fantasy grounds and Fantasy Grounds 2? when looking for tutorials i see both listed on youtube, google, and other searches but no clear difference, and nothing on steam about FG2?

second question; if i bought the program and a lot of the 5E bundle from steam, can i buy future modules directly from this website or do i need to keep purchasing upgrades and updates i want from steam?

final question; can you print anything from FG, like a char sheet or an NPC sheet or encounter?

1) It's all the same thing, technically we are on FG 3

2) If you want to get the Complete Bundle discount you need to purchase that bundle at one place., But the publisher makes more $ from their store since Valve doesn't get their cut.

3) You can for 5e char's, look in the 5e forum section for it. For 35e or Pathfinder, I'd recommend pcgen.org for making characters and importing into FG.

You cannot print anything directly from FG. There are as Nylanfs points out a couple of community made things which take the character XML and print it out. Not sure how effective any of them are however.
