I ran the first portion (Burnt Offerings?) as a DM a while back, kind of. The game strayed off into a custom story rather quickly. This is what happens when you only have two players and they're very good at role-playing/storytelling. I don't have a problem ignoring information to avoid metagaming - it's about what the character would do, not the player.
