How do you work with NPCs in FG?

I just uploaded the latest Visual FAQ, this time focusing on the various ways you can create personalities within the FG applcation or directly within the NPC node of the db.xml file.

This tutorial is a 21 MB powerpoint presentation, a 16 minute slideshow with narration.

If you don't have Microsoft Powerpoint 2003, the presentation will not look right; you can however download Powerpoint Viewer 2003 (https://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=428d5727-43ab-4f24-90b7-a94784af71a4&DisplayLang=en) from Microsoft. With the Viewer installed you save the presentation to your computer, then open the presentation using the Viewer and watch the slideshow.

Also, feedback on the FAQs is encouraged. I see that 30 people have downloaded the third FAQ so far. I think these are getting better as I go along, since I'm learning better how to work with Powerpoint, but any constructive comments are appreciated (like how I still need to work on my public speaking :roll: )

With the Powerpoint Viewer available to anyone for free, I found that using the narration feature in Powerpoint 2003 is much better than going through the hassle of creating videos of me working in FG. By the time I get them in .mpg format the quality is crappy unless I want files in excees of 50 MB. I might redo the first two FAQs to match the format I used for FAQ #3.
