I was kicking around tweaking a few of the maps from Lost mines and am unable to locate the assets. I'm assuming this is due to them being proprietary or am I missing something?

Thats correct. They are in an encrypted vault file.

Do a google search. Many WoTC artists sell the maps as digital files.
