Hi, All.

My group uses Mumble. Because we use Mumble for a thousand other things, it just make sense for us to use it with Fantasy Grounds (which I am brand new at). One of the things I wanted to do was stream audio for the players (ambience, etc.). I had looked at various options popular in Google searches that included multiple Mumble windows, virtual audio cable software, etc. Finally, I found DJ Streamer from Screaming Bee, which does just what I wanted. I use it in mumble now to stream local MP3's, but it would likely work with any voice software.

Basically, you setup your voice application to use the Screaming Bee microphone, and DJ Streamer combines your regular microphone with local streaming MP3's as input to your voice application. Works like a charm. Simple.

Regards,
Steve

The only problem with this is that the background and ambiance volume cannot be independently controlled by the players. With my Teamspeak setup the players can adjust the volume of the background (or even mute it) without affecting my voice as GM (actually, I have my TS server setup to mute the players when I talk).

But, in the end, go with what works for you. If you're happy with the DJ Streamer then that's cool. :)
