View Full Version : Looking for some towns 5e

Hey all,

I'm pretty new to this software and was poking through the store for some drop in towns, but there don't seem to be any on the market. Anyone know of any user made modules that might fit the bill of a fleshed out somewhat generic town? I had started converting Hommlet and was planning on Orlane as well, but it occurred to me that this would be wasted effort since I wouldn't be able to share that work with anyone due to them being published. So if nothing already exists, I'll work on creating some generic drop in towns for the community. Just wanted to check and see if there was anything already out there that I wasn't seeing.

You may want to check out Dulux=Oz's extension (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?20794-DOE-Locations-Extension)

This certainly looks promising. I'll dig into it.

The DOE extension is an awesome extension once you populate the stores etc. I don't know of any drop in towns etc that are separate from an adventure module. My DMsG module has a detailed village in it, but its a pretty small place. About 2 dozen buildings, a smithy, and an inn.

I suspect Nick is referring to this thread, https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?35925-WTCW-What-the-Community-Wants

And I would guess that it means its something on his list to do, but no promises when.

I didn't realize FG modules were sold on the DMsG site. Anything there that's a must have?

It was actually a reference to an episode of Jerry Seinfeld. Didn't expect anyone to catch the reference. Indeed there are some good things to come from that thread.

As for the DMsG, nothing that's a 'must have', but some good stuff to fill out a collection. You really must be critical of the quality of a product there before buying as anyone can post to the site.

Not much there yet, but I'm working on it!
