I will toss one out for you The Repo Man scenario. The group consists of Repossession specialists ideal composition would be at least 1 power armor and/or Robot vehicle pilot, 1 Break in specialist, 1 repairman, 1 Magic and/or psychic and 1 medic type. When Corporations, factions, and or powerful individuals aren't paid for their goods (generally someone bailed on their service contract to complete payment.) the repo men are called. this team collects cyberware, bionics, power armor, vehicles and other goods of significant value. Employment can come from many sources. pay can be between 6-10% of the resell value. Repo men may be doing these jobs to bank up for a major purchase from their employer and taking a small fraction to defray costs of the repossession.

Or we toss this out on it's ear. The party has been targeted by Repo men. Maybe the full conversion borg was an escapee, the Juicer and/or crazy just didn't complete their service contracts, someone bought (or stole) stolen goods and or a case of mistaken identity.

Good one, Baufrin. Reminds me of the Naruini Repobots that would show up if you defaulted on your exorbitant loan from Naruni Enterprises..their stuff, while top of the line, was expensive, and credit good! My players spent many days running from the Repobots!
