For example, the Belt of Giant Strength can boost your strength to a certain number (e.g. Hill Giant Strength = your strength is now 21). Can I do this as an effect instead of manually changing it to 21 whenever they put the belt on?

I noticed you can do this for skills (e.g. SKILL: 5 athletics) but I didn't see anyting for stats.

Thank you.

Absolutely. See the "Abilities" section of the Modifiers table in the Wiki User Guide: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/index.php/5E_Effects#Modifiers

Remember that effects don't change stats on the character sheet, they are applied when an action (roll) is made that is relevant to the effect in question. And note that using a CON effect won't change hit points, you'll need to do that manually.
