Good day!
I'm trying something new and different [I think] to help people find games and connect Fantasy Grounds users. I've created a Telegram group where people can post when looking to join a group or looking for someone to fill a spot when they get a last-minute cancellation. Unlike posting in a forum where it requires someone to be actively monitoring it, a Telegram group will send a notification immediately to all members. My intention is for this to be used more for immediate response when time is short and not for long-term planning of a game, otherwise messages may be missed. This is not a replacement for the the LFG forum here or LFG channel in TeamSpeak, but just another means of connecting with players.
It's a public group but limited to 5000 members. If it grows bigger there may be options to change it to a channel and add some automation but that's much further down the road. Right now this is more of a trial to see if people are interested in such a tool. Here is the public link to the Telegram group: https://telegram.me/FantasyGroundsLFG. Anyone can join, you just need to use Telegram!
If you're not familiar with Telegram it is a free messaging app for iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Windows, Mac, Linux, and a web client. Here's the link to their site: https://telegram.org/.
