View Full Version : Custom Character Backgrounds

I need to create some custom character backgrounds for my campaign in Fantasy Grounds. However, I have no idea how to go about it and haven't been able to find any documentation on the subjecty whatsoever. I am beginning to doubt if it is even possible. If anyone can throw be a bone I'd be much obliged.

The ability to create, copy and edit background records will be added in v3.2.2 which is currently in beta testing in the Test channel.

I'll be done with the Unearthed Arcana articles soon. Then I'll throw together a set of xml templates and post them on the forum here with instructions on how to use them. They will be pretty much the same thing as what you can export with v3.2.2 (but you won't have to switch to a test version to get them).

You can create custom backgrounds using PAR5E. I did this some months ago for my own module. You might also be able to do this with the newer FG5EParser, but I don't know if that capability has been added yet.
