New Player to FG. Experience with 5E. Looking for later hours.

Hi, New to Fantasy grounds, I have 5th Edition and have DMed a bit. Familiar with rules sets for 5e and 2nd Edition. mildy familiar with 3E but never really played it much.

FG License: Licensed client
Time Zone: Eastern Standard time
Day(s) of week, frequency, and time: Flexible to an extent looking for nights and/or weekend play.
Term: looking for a good group for possible long term, but not opposed to one shots and module play as well.
Voice: Can sometimes depending on time of day due to late hours.

Game System Preferred: Looking to play D&D 5E
Game System Experience: Played 2nd edition for years incorperated some 3rd Edition rules into second, but never fully played 3rd. Never played 4th, currently playing 5th with my RL group. Also DMing 5th with Rl group.
Fantasy Grounds Experience: New to Fantasy grounds. Played alittle on roll20 and I learn quickly.

Character Type Preferred: Flexible to fit party.
About me: Not sure what to say about myself other than I try to be nice to everyone.

If you haven't done so already, let me encourage you to take a look at some of the great Tutorial Videos available on the Fantasy Grounds Wiki (and on YouTube). Damn's are good, as are Xorn's, and people seem to like mine as well (mine are also available from the links in my sig, below).

Start with the ones on the CoreRPG, because the CoreRPG forms the foundation of just about all the RPGs we play with Fantasy Grounds - so by learning how to use FG with the CoreRPG you'll learn about 80% of what you'll need to know to play any RPG with Fantasy Grounds. Once you've gone through the CoreRPG Videos you can then go on to Videos about your chosen RPG.

When you get familiar with the basic Fantasy Grounds product the next step is to check out some of the Extensions (Plug-Ins) for FG, such as the DOE: Sound, DOE: Locations, DOE: Weather and DOE: Organisations Extensions (to name a but a few).

And keep on asking questions - we're a pretty friendly lot here, and we love answering questions.

Not sure if your interested but here is what I am looking for. We play every thursday night from 9PM - 11ishPM EST. We play Pathfinder not D&D though all but one of us have played D&D since first edition through 4th edition. We bailed on 4th edition and went to Paizo and Pathfinder. D&D 5.0 looks great but we prefer the stiffer framework of Pathfinder compared to D&D. I want to add one player to an existing 5 player group in a campaign style game where the characters are currently 7th level. We use Mumble for voice chat and obviously Fantasy Grounds. Voice chat is a must so if you have interest make sure you have voice chat available during this time frame. We range in age from 39 - 54 as is probably evident since we played first edition.
