Do profile pics work, or am I doing something wrong?

I wanted to put my picture as my profile pic, and I think I uploaded it correctly, but I can't find where it is displayed no matter what I click. All I see on my profile is my forum Avatar (which will always be the best violinist ever...) and not my personal photo. What am I doing wrong?

Anyway, I think it may be used for blogs and the like, I'm probably wrong but from a cursory settings overview it's not working from the 'profile' view.

Hahaha, nope, I am not even close to that pretty! I'm just a little obsessed with her. I wonder if anyone who doesn't youtube thinks that's me! Too funny!

I read something that blogs had to be enabled at one point, so I don't think the profile pic would be reserved for that. I do see though that like me, you can't find the obvious thing wrong clicking in the places that should work.

I had to look that up! I thought Yanni in all caps was some kind of RPG acronym, like Yesterday's Always Not New Inspectors.. or something. But yeah, he sounds cool! Still, I clicked on your link and got a 403... or was that the point and I am just dumb? lol

I did see my profile pic on my blog section, but then couldn't figure out how to start a blog - which is something I would like to do; focusing on text gaming as a fun variation for others to try.

The profile pic is for blogs and I'm not sure what else. I posted my first blog today and didn't have a picture, as in my normal avatar didn't show. So I went into my profile and added my profile pic and it showed up in the blog.
