View Full Version : Maps in fg, secret door cover up and such....

So, I am a VERY novice GIMP user. I'm not here to say GIMP is the best tool, but I figured something out I wanted to share. I've purchased a few fg modules where the maps are great but they don't do a good job covering up secret doors and the like. I just discovered a clone feature in GIMP which is heaven! Took me about 5 minutes to actual take texture from the map and wipe out doors the players shouldn't see. I really need to watch some GIMP tutorial videos to get better with it.

I also just purchased CC3+ and can't wait to try it out!

So much to do and so little time... :)

Clone tool = many uses, very handy.

Awesome share! And for newbs... Photoshop has a similar tool with the same name, if you already own it. Of course if you don't own either, GIMP is the much <I>cheaper</I> solution!
