Having some issues finding the answers to some questions. I know that with an ultimate license demo users can play with me as I DM, but will they be able to save anything on their end so we can continue sessions at a later date? If I buy modules as a user and somebody else wants to DM a session with a standard license or greater can they use my resources? Or are all of those kind of worthless as a player? My players aren't very interested in having their own book collections, and often borrow my physical materials as things are now.

Welcome Necrolepsy the way the sharing works is that the GM can share resources to the players in that campaign. These resources are only available to the player while connected to the GM. Eg you share the Players Handbook and they can access everything within it. When playing Storm Kings Thunder you would only share battlemaps as and when they happen and not share the whole module.
Your purchases will only work with your login on your computer so you cant loan them to someone else. For 5e the only purchases that players would make (if they wanted to) is the PHB and maybe Sword Coast Adventurers Guide. Its not a bad idea to ask your players to tip in $10 each to buy you the next adventure that you run. You still made all the big up front purchases and the players just have a small hit every now and again.
On the player side they will really only cache their Character Sheet (its also on your system) and any shared images and chat data.

There are certain pieces of campaign data that does get saved onto the client (players) machines, such as info about their character, keeping track of items and maps you have shared to them etc. These things are remembered from session to session, so that when they log back into your campaign, you can continue where you left off.
Regarding modules that are purchased, rulebooks are shared to the players at the discretion of the GM for the duration of the time they are connected to you, but they would not have access to them once the session is over; likewise, they would not have access to adventure modules that you own if you are not the GM. The GM's machine acts as a server and has special powers granted that the client's logging in do not have.
At most, generally speaking, players only need a copy of a players manual for the game they are playing; while it isn't necessary for them to own it since they have access to yours during play, it is nice for them to have. They do not need anything else unless they are going to be a GM themselves. Unfortunately the term GM is pretty much synonymous with being a book collector. That is just part of the role.

Yes, player campaign data is persistent. All will be as it should be the next time/day they connect to your campaign.
I do not believe there is any way to "lend out" a module for another to DM. I'd love that myself ;) I only say "don't believe" because I am a novice myself. If I wasn't, I'd say there is NOT a way for certain.

I, myself, would love it if we could have another Standard Lic or higher player be our "co-DM" where they could run modules from either player's account. Before we go "heeey! that's bad for SW" - think, I mean if we were in a steady group like I used to have for a decade on tabletop, it is exactly what happened. I'd buy many (nearly all) modules because I liked collecting and have ADHD and want to do all, even if time does not permit. Then occaisionally my co-dm bug who usually wrote it all himself saw a module that might fit as a launchpoint like Under Ilefarn - I'd give him my module and he'd run it (modified usually) and we'd have a long campaign from just that module as he wrote his own stuff on top of it. Now, there would be ZERO chance in the old days that we BOTH would buy it. So there was no potential loss of business compared to THAT model.
Of course, it could be abused - which is why it would need to have some limit (think like music match sharing in iTunes or the like) like could only co-DM-register once per 6 months or year? In my case, I'd be happy with like ONCE in a lifetime... since if it was possible to only Co-DM with FG between 2 folks, my buddy of 30+ years would def be it for good.
Yeah, I find too especially when we were in teens/early 20s that there was just one or two guys with jobs to afford this sort of thing and others borrowed books/modules at table. Not so much now, but hey... still be nice since I plan on keeping my Complete Bundle up to date... but if Chris started to play on FG, I'd rethink that and just wait for 25% off sales to buy modules (and unfortunately now, books too if didn't have a bundle thing) - Otherwise, if I couldn't read them or use them because someone else was going to run them... I'd back off buying them. Right now, I haven't gotten him on board so I buy em all thinking someday to use with others on net. But...

Sorry I started answering when no one else had.
But got interrupted by son waking with nightmare and when hit post saw I was 3rd ;)
I'd be hard-pressed to find another forum of users who are so quick to help. And I've been on forums (well, single user at time BBS) since '80 or so.

Yeah I guess I was just kind of hoping that people could plan a campaign using resources they didn't have but when it came time to play that somebody there must have a license to use it, or something to that effect. I knew it was a stretch but wishful thinking and all that.

Thanks for all the replies everyone. Seeing an active community for this product only makes me want it more. Here is hoping for a holiday sale in the coming weeks!
