Do you hear about FG Blogs? -- New Blog appears

Maybe you members, never clicked on "FG BLOGS" section, for some reasons.
But I can recommend you do it, and from time to time look inside this "hidden stash". You can find here short reviews, preview on new upcoming expansion or prepared modules, mechanics how extension works, proved tactics which DM's used for their games, etc..., which wrote for you another FG member.

FORUM can give you quick answers on your simple questions but sometime could be hard to write short answers on complex problems because wider explanantion needed. And for these cases are BLOGs best place. Writer can be more accurately, and inhere all details in his writing. Author often include pictures, examples or short tutorial how things works for better imagination. Another argument for reading BLOGs is "In good Blog post you can always find informations which are discussed in many, many old and new threads with all relations in between. Not only answer on one directly asked question".

"Dark side" of this kind of writting is in:
a.) It takes longer time for writting.
b.) Invested time which author needs for preparation, gaining all needed materials, tests,
pictures (cuted or uncuted printscreens), etc... will be wasted if no one read it!
c.) Author must identify, make and take decision if this his project has some value for readers or not?

As I meaned this kind of work is very useful and needed because good BLOG can teach you more then one hour running video! Contains valuable informations, from old veteran players and experiences from playing first game too. Finaly through them we can touch of another fantasy world which running maybe now in anothers living room.

I'm not good in english as I writen somewhere but I really like reading good BLOGs which we have on FG site actually. Try look on them and in right corner you can Rate every blog entry with stars! (through "Rate this Entry" button).

And now all of you knows from great "LordEntrails" review series that:
our friend "rob2e" made great extension for "Magic Shop & Random Item Rarity Tables".
Skilled GM could use rob's random character and background generator (are you skill enough?). Later in "People are complaining to me..." write list of all his extensions which he made for FG. And our rob2e is really potent developer see this blog page.
Next from his reviews was aimed on "Dulux-Oz" "DOE: Alignment Graph" which is brilliant btw do you know what is Alignment Quiz?
Last of reviews till today 2017-02-13 was about "Agmars" "Gems!" through this tool can DM easily generate size, type ... better read :p

Do you still remember "How many points 5,6 or 7 has Answulf's successful Long-therm gaming groups manual?"
Correct answer on this question offers his blog "Answulf" and YES I give him rating "five stars" because is really worth it! How you rated it?

First blog here into our FG BLOGs section writen by "mhorgunn" sometime things simply doesn't work as we want and about it was his first "debut". About, missing childs, guards, traps, locked doors, boots of speed ... too. Actually he is learning how to work in CS3+ sw, so please help him little and write him good link on good tutorials in comments somewhere under his blogs :)

For example, one of the players could take notes on the party’s progress during the game, removing one source of distraction from the GM. Another can keep track of the treasure, clues, or whatever is of value in the game you’re playing. A third can create and maintain an online repository for all this information. If a character is from a town for which there are no details, ask that player flesh the place out. If the party barbarian is from some far-off tribe, ask their player write up some details about the tribe.
If you didn't read it go and do it especially if you are DM.

after while I'm back and continuing in this my thread,

I think everybody was in situation when by browsing on internet or reading new books encountered nice pictures.
Mr. Mhorgunn offered us new angle how to reading and thinking about them.
Have you ever found an image and said, “Wow this would be a cool character”?
You will meet uncle Rocksplitter, Ursula and small goblin named (Important information for all FG members: Remember red goblins name maybe you will need it later when I ask for it!) too. Seems our Mr. "Mhorgunn" is "inexhaustible well of ideas".

At 14th April 2017 new blogger was born his name was "bigbluepaw".
His first blog starts new series titled "Actionable roleplaying" and is aimed on DM's side (differences when you playing as player or DM).
"Things as narrating combat, The Spell Trigger Words for Dimble, The Wise Words of Glaivemaster Ash, The Acrobatics of Elanelis, Actionable Takeaways, Got Advice?"
His "Actionable roleplaying" series will be I assume one of most powerfull blogs for this 2017 seasons.

Dear reader,
after while Im sitting back in my chair and writing ....
I'm really happy with all this new blogs which appears as "stars on evening sky" in our FG BLOG (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/blog.php) section. Some of them shine brighter then others but all together offers us better view in our beautifull FG world. Their light sometimes as spark lite up secrets hidden in the darkness, uncover mysticism or attract readers eye on something useful and mostly great. Our BLOG writers are as prospectors or better sayed explorers which enter day by day hidden, untouched areas, dark passages or labyrinth of sw code. Later they share with us, their valuable know-how noted in their marks (FG BLOGs). Few of them are skilled enough and can speak in LUA language, commonly they speak in English, Deutsch, Italian, Spanish, Aussie, etc... for this reason is hard recognize them.

Many of them (explorers), was lost on their missions. And now we doesn't have messages or scrolls from them, about their journeys. But if you look in our FG BLOG section NOW!!! then you can find one of them writting about his wander into Phandelver Mines. Or maybe you missed one of the best comments for this series which appear under one BLOG, btw. every registered user can add there comments :) in which "ShadowMystik" beautifully describes "One of the first lessons my original DM gave me in dungeoneering, both as a player and as a gamemaster, is that every dungeon, ruin, castle or whatever has an ecosystem and exists at a state of equilibrium. ..." GO THERE read this great BLOG and don't forget read complete "ShadowMystiks" reaction too!!!

In my previous post I meaned one of the powerfull BLOG post series for year 2017 which starts. Actually it has 1152 views!!! Second part has actually 978 views what is really, really great and as I'm expected Mr. "bigbluepaw" knows how to do things better, nicer ... with details inside detail!!!

Third part is specially aimed on players side, new players can find here hints about hero creation process.
Preparing for final part Mr. "Mhorgunn" showed us another of his skills, map skill creation. GO and LOOK at his nice work (Feel free to use this map in your campaign if you like.).
