Character restrictions: I own the complete D&D5e set so you can use any published book. We are rolling for stats.

Details of your scenario: A Dwarf named Gundren Rockseeker found your group in the city of Neverwinter and requested that you protect his wagonload of provisions to the rough-and-tumble settlement of Phandalin, which is a few days travel southeast from Neverwinter. Gundren was quite excited and very secretive about the trip, only saying that he and his brothers had found something big and he’d pay each you ten gold pieces for escorting the supplies safely to Barthen’s Provisions, a trading post in town. Gundren set out ahead of our travelers with a warrior escort named Sildar Hailwinter, telling the unlikely adventurers that he has to arrive early to take care of business.

About Me: I ran an ongoing Vampire the Masquerade game for two years that only stopped because I joined the Navy in 1996. Fast forward 20 years, and I felt it was time to get back into Tabletop gaming. For my return to the tabletop world, I've been running an FFG Star Wars campaign for the past month, and the players keep coming back. I'm hoping I can keep a new group of adventures coming back for more 5e. I've purchased all the modules, so I plan on running games for a long while.

Yes, we could use 1 or 2 more players. So far I've accepted the first three players that I spoke with on discord, who have never played The Lost Mine of Phandelver. Character generation and introductions will be on the 23rd. We are skipping the 30th since some will be out for the holidays and the official start date is Jan 6th.

The Storm King's Thunder game I was part of and enjoying ended due to the vicissitudes of online gaming, and I've been looking for a LMP game to join. I like playing a wizard but am open to other roles. Let me know if I can answer more questions. I like both roleplaying and battle, but mostly I like the process of being part of a group trying to find creative ways to solve problems in interesting situations.

We've decided to open the group up for a 5th member. New players are welcome. We are currently making our way through the D&D 5E Beginners game. The team consists of a Human Sorcerer, Bugbear Monk, Wood Elf Cleric, & an Aasimar Paladin.
