OK, I installed FG. Got my lisence, added my forum name to the settings. I have also said run as admin.

Now, when I open and go in to make my character it doesn't give me options of races, classes or anything. I can get on TeamSpeak to walk through things if needed.

Which ruleset (game system) are you using? Also, which modules do you have open?

Note: Only 5E supports drag and drop races onto PCs, and 3.5E/PFRPG/SavageWorlds only provides the races as reference text.

Hi mcpeakj dont Run as Admin it is better to work out any permissions issues properly.

Check out pages 18 and 19 for module activation.
https://www.fantasygrounds.com/filelibrary/FantasyGroundsUserManual.pdf

Then depending on what ruleset you are using you will have different next steps.

I'd recommend watching some of the videos from the Wiki: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/index.php/Videos

If you're using 5E, watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nurEMR4JJeU Library activation is shown at 4:00.

And, in case you are going crazy buying DLC via the Black Friday sale, try to keep the number of modules open to what is needed to run your game. It is tempting to open a lot of them, but if you have several adventures open and all the reference books and you open a larger than normal image, you may run into memory issues. I can only assume this will get worse as WoTC adds more reference books ...
