Is it Fall then another nearer to or right after Christmas?

Or is the Autumn (Black Friday) only?

I'm asking so can plan my NON-FG purchases for my son and self, already buying my FG things between tonight and Sun. Already bought one but plan on >$175 worth of stuff cos I want to see mo' growth so prebuying things may need later lol

We are not allowed to comment on any future dates of sales on Steam. If you were to look back historically, though, there was a sale around this time and then another around Christmas and New Years.

That's cool Doug, I'm sorry, I was asking this n this forum for people who DO NOT suffer ADHD like me and forget everything as it blurs together.

Was asking about JUST what you answered: What were the sales last year?

Since FG sales seem to be this percent each time, I have no reason to put it off in that case even if don't plan on using the stuff much before 2017.

Was wondering if anyone (who doesn't run a business with Steam and could be in trouble if they are perceived to leak info /lookingatyouDoug ;) ) recall if prices on both Steam sales are salish?

I ask because some things seem not as cheap as I recall on Steam sales: for example Lego Force Awakens is 50% but still off the high msrp vs a base $20 price. Crusader Kings last 2 expansion discounts (this time for me) are meh, i think that Humble had Conclave (which is poorly dated and only reason didn't get) at like 3$ or less? Prob will get Reaper at least.

No idea what else, but i'll be on vacation Dec 12-Jan3 so if next sale is same/better, I can wait on Steam game till then when have more time to pick em.

I looked historically at steam sales to get an idea, and was even able to find out when today's sale started. There will be one in December on Steam. Whether or not FG will be there, that is probably something Doug can't confirm nor deny. :) With some google skill, you can also find the price trends for FG stuff too. It would give you an idea of sales patterns. And in looking at those patterns, this seems like the best deal EVER.. So I recommend seizing the opportunity to save the maximum.

yup, i've already made two separate orders and once get the DLR thing straightened out will be buying a lot more.

Was really wondering for non-FG... Crusader prices (one I regular catch up on during Steam sales) are def not as low as normally recall. so maybe I recall xmas sales. Lego SW seems not as big a deal, I may gamble and wait on that one for son. But i'll be buying a few others i had wishlist ed anyhow.

Ahhh... I see what you are asking. I have been blinded by Fantasy Grounds and had forgotten there were any other games on Steam. :) I can actually answer your question though. I have around 258 games and am Level 51 on Steam, so I know a Steam sale when I see it. In mid to late December there will be another Steam sale for a couple of weeks. Think about the times that kids are off for break; that's when it will hit usually. There will be much, much more on sale than on Black Friday. The deals are almost always better (or at least equal to) what the are today. There will be exceptions, but if you are looking at things like Lego SW, the winter would be the best time. Also expect some kind of twist or game to it all. Like the auction they had before. You could end up saving a boat load if you end up finding something that Steam is practically giving away at a loss. Doubt with all the legal stuff that FG would fall into one of those prizes though. But if you can wait for something, winter sale is your best bet. Unless (anyone reading this) it is Fantasy Grounds.... Then carpe diem!

Thanks, I was operating on "gut" instinct only - cool will wait and devote this week to picking the rest of the misc FG purchases I have yet to make.
