I seem to be incapable of joining the sessions with everyone else being able to. I need some help with that

Please post the contents of the console.log file from your FG app data directory - click the folder icon at the top right of the main FG launch screen to access this directory.

Thanks - this shows that FG can't resolve the alias zany thug cold goon into an IP address. Ask your GM to confirm the alias, and if you still can't connect with the confirmed alias, ask them to supply you with the external IP address, and use that as the host address to connect.

What does the console.log file say when you try to use the external IP address?

Thanks.

That is an immediate return of not being able to connect (same time stamps). This suggests that Fantasy Grounds can't access the network. Things to check:
1) check that FantasyGrounds.exe is not being blocked by your security/AV application.
2) Check your local network in Windows network and sharing center - does it show private or public?
3) Try running an update - does this even update?

1) most likely, but didn't cause problems before
2) private, but I don't think that caused problems before
3) it does update

Investigate #1 then - FG has been updated recently and a lot of Security/AV applications blocked the new FantasyGrounds executables as they were new files and need Internet access.
