Armor of Moderate Fortification

In short is their a way to set up and if crit effect that gives me a 50% chance of taking normal damage? I have looked all over the place and found nothing, so I figured it was just time to ask.

Nope, that can't be done with effects. You'll have to handle it manually before the crit damage is rolled.
