One has to wonder at the production technique that allows them to sell it at such a low price, if it is genuine (even if only butted).

It seems to me that the picture shown shows the "links" ending in partial links atthe end of the sleeve, which makes me doubt the pictures.

I learned how to make it by hand years ago. Not actually hate, but requires tons of time and attention to detail. And then if you want the ends welded too... but, still fun to consider, thanks for sharing.

I doubt very much it is authentically hand made at that price, but still, thought it looked pretty cool.

It is really cool looking, for a Ren Faire, cosplay or costume. Probably not what I would want stopping a dirk, but it really is tempting.
