How to sneak attack?

As the topic say, how do I handle that?

We play a face to face game, and the new Manual roll option is amazing for this :).

I have a rogue in the party and if I equip him with a rapier, it calculates that he will give 1d8+3 in damage. But as he often can get sneak attack bonus of 1d6 how do I handle that? Or rather how do you guys handle that?

My solution for this was giving him a rapier more (that I edited to weight 0) and at the action tab edit that rapiers damage to 1D8+3+1D6. was that the best way or did I miss something?

Thanks again. I found some effects some time ago, that I have to add :). Rage for example. I forgot them as I have mostly used FG as just a way to show maps and such, but with the new manuel roll, a new age has begun ;)..

I have now finally figured out how use it too.... :S. I tried to add eg Sneak Attack; DMG: 1d6 to the list of effects, but now I realize that is not how it works after I read what you wrote in the one Trenloe linked to ;). I have to add it to a player as a power.

The post on the Wiki took my breath away "you expect me to read ALL that!" :D. I'm a lazy bastard, I admit it ;). Maybe tomorrow when i have had some sleep....

LOL! Normally I love reading stuff like that, but I just found it too much for just so little a thing ;). The problem here was actually not that I did not get effects as such, just I did not connect the creation of powers and effects :). Also I never expect anyone to tell me how to in a post, when it's perfectly explain elsewhere, just like you pointed me to the post where it was discussed already (and I couldn't find, I did look).

Not sure if things have changed, but [Sneak Attack; DMG: 1d6] doesn't seem to work properly.

Yes, it does. Make sure that you set the target to self and the expiry to on next action.

Otherwise you'll need to say why it isn't working.
