I used to run a 3.5 Forgotten Realms campaign a few years ago and due to a player conflict...that fizzled... I'm seriously trying to get back into D&D and don't know the 5e ruleset. I remember the days of 2nd edition when I was young and first started and had tons of fun. I'm familiar with the overall mechanics and can learn the new rule set quickly, however, all my books are 3.5 I do, however, have some 5e character sheets, and some dice (lol), so If I need to roll a char by hand, I can do so. I just want to throw myself back into the game wholeheartedly and have as much fun as I remember. I have the demo version of FG, and I wonder if I can roll a char in FG, since I don't have the 5e rule books. Please offer any input that you have. I really just want to game again :D
