Just picked this up last week and read it - and it looks really, really good.

Anyone plan on running it in FG? Anyone know if an official version is coming to Fantasy Grounds?

I have a copy myself and I'm hoping this gets official FG treatment. I'd eagerly make that purchase from the store should that happen.

If either of you aquire a fg version and decide to run it, please message me about it! I would LOVE to play.

Properties which are licensed from a third party (like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Dragon Age, etc.) are usually the hardest to get permission to make, due to the way rights are divided up and getting permission from multiple companies. We're going to reach out to them, but we haven't had much luck on these so far.

I'm working on a Par5e file for my own use. I don't hold much hope that an official version will be possible, based on conversations I had with Cubicle 7 around The One Ring.

That's a bummer. Well, at least it seems you wouldn't have to make too many changes from the base 5E ruleset...

Looks like a few extra fields to cater for shadow, etc. Should be possible with a small extension.

I'd be interested in seeing your work if it's sharable. I know you are running a One Ring campaign on Fridays Valarian - are you planning on starting something separate for Adventures in Middle Earth, or are you guys thinking about switching that campaign over?

I would definitely buy the book(s) and any available FG conversion but I could not see buying the books if I could not dm or play this on Fantasy Grounds.

Hi!
I, for my part, would love to see that you could have the right for all stuff for star wars 3.5 ed!

I'm pretty sure Disney would hold the rights to the license and WOTC would hold the rights to the actual books, so good luck getting both of them to agree. Having said that, a couple of extensions to 3.5 to allow for the Wounds/Vitality, class based Defence bonuses and Armour as DR systems would do half of the work (and would be nice anyway because those are some parts of the 3.5 UA I actually rather like), and an extension that allows for feat and skill based powers that cost vitality to use would do the rest...

There is an old community set for Saga edition Star Wars. This thread is for AiMe though.
