I'm looking for sources on the internet (preferred free, but willing to pay for high quality maps) for Victorian maps -primarily interiors. Things like late 1800 mansions, sitting rooms, dining halls, libraries, hospitals, wooden floors, throw rugs, etc. Victorian streets would be nice as well, but I've found dome examples for that. Fantasy and to a lesser extent, sci fi maps are easy to find, but Victorian/steam punk maps seem to be much more scarce. Any suggestions?

There are some English/UK museums and government sources that have old maps. Don't know about anything interior though. I'd suggest you check what you can find at the www.cartographersguild.com

If you can't find an appropriate thread, they are a pretty friendly and helpful group over there too.

Thanks for the response LordEntrails. I've already poached some from cartographersguild, and dundjinni as well. I'm hoping to get some more sources to fill in some gaps. And as you've pointed out, I have some floor plans/schematics from real life sources - but hoping for some gamer friendly sources. As an aside - video game screenshots work really well in some cases (pillars of eternity is great for dungeon maps) if anyone has any suggestions for recent video games that may fit the bill for the victorian/horror/steampunk theme.

A but more expensive, and you'd have to extract the images from the PDF, but these will allow you to put a "dark mansion" together of varying layouts, etc.

Floorplans only or furnished?

Townhouses: https://www.google.com.au/search?q=victorian+london+townhouse+floor+plans&espv=2&biw=1600&bih=721&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X

Mansions: https://www.google.com.au/search?q=victorian+london+townhouse+floor+plans&espv=2&biw=1600&bih=721&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X

There is overlap in all of those but I think you will find a couple that you can duplicate/replicate/modify for your purposes.
