View Full Version : Customizing my very first theme to suit my future campaign

Just wanted to share, I've just spent some time creating my own theme to add a bit immersion for my players.
My next campaign will be a low fantasy with little to no-magic (player's won't have it, bad guys might) in a world at constant war where the player characters are mercenaries often not by choice but by necessity, human will be the only available race but the world is also inhabited by orcs and goblins that are a constant threat to the border empires. Players will accept jobs to survive, fighting on the side of the one that pays more often facing moral issues of their profession. This is highly inspired (and uses graphical assets of) the game Battle Brothers, if you like the campaign idea and don't know it you should really check it out (https://battlebrothersgame.com/)

Thanks to Ikael that got some really nice updates on how effects work on the SW ruleset I'll deliver a game with a tactical level (shields breaking, armored players being an issue to archers, choosing crossbow vs bow to penetrate armor, use of allies) with the ease I can only find on Fantasy Grounds.

Nice, this would make a nice blog... You could also tell us how you built it, how your players like it...
