Resizing Tokens without resizing the maps

Maybe it's a old question but i'm playing a lot of 5ed I was using maptools before. I like to add token or piece of maps on the spot when I play with my player. When I add token or anything on top of the original map, the image/token keep there original size. Is there any way, extension or anything esle that i can use beside preparing all the goodies in advance. Can i resize token on the spot without resizing the map?

If you click on a token and hold down CTRL whilst moving the mouse wheel you can resize the individual token without changing anything else. Note also that if you have a grid on the map the tokens will auto size to the scale of the map. Furthermore if you put things like furniture tokens on the map you'll start to get problems with token stacking and not being easily able to move them.
