Hi, I start my adventure with FG and have some questions. I have standard version
1. What voice communicator you use?
2. How I can import some graphics for maps, items, tokens etc?

thx for help.

Hi Girwan welcome to FG and to the community

Voice communication is a matter of personal preference. I use Teasmspeak, but there are others who use Discord, Mumble, Google Hangouts and there are hundreds more. The only one I'd not recommend using is Skype since it tends to hog your bandwidth.

To import maps and other images click on the images button down the right hand side (Depending on the ruleset it might be called maps or maps and images) then click on the 'folder' icon. Drag and drop the images from wherever they are into that folder. See the wiki (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/index.php/Images) for more info. For tokens it's a little more complicated since you'll nee to create a tokens module. Some information on how to do that here (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?21707-Creating-Token-Modules).

Items are something you create yourself or they may be part of a module such as a players handbook or adventure. Again it depends on the ruleset you are using what is required but here (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/index.php/Campaign_Data) is a good place to start finding out.

Thank you Zacchaeus. I see that template (table when I play) depends from system which I choose. It's possible to choose for example 5E and see library and items for 3.5?

Welcome Girwan :)

There is a community hosted Teamspeak server you can use. Info found here; https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?17071-Voicechat!-Community-TeamSpeak3-Server

Also several of the guys around here have put together some really good video tutorials on YouTube. I don't have links for thse, but they are easy to find either here on the forums or in YouTube.

Take a look around, follow those links Zacchaeus posted and let us know any questions you might have.

Nope, so when you start a campaign, you select a ruleset. The ruleset you choose will then determine which modules are available to be opened from the Library > Modules window.

The underlying data structures are different between rulesets so the reference materials for them do also vary making them incompatible with other rulesets.
