Not Responding but Connecting?

So up until I load a campaign, everything is normal, it's when I am actually connecting that in the windowed mode, the program says FG is Not Responding. Is there a log or something I can check to get why it's not responding? After a few seconds FG either keeps loading for a few more seconds or goes into the ruleset I've chosen. Any thoughts?

"Not Responding" is just Windows way of telling you that the program is busy doing something :)
