John Carimando did the last UI upgrade. He is back and wanting to do some more work on it, but wants feedback from the users on what they like, what they want to see, and that they don’t like.

Please take a moment to answer a few high level questions about the UI. When he starts getting into each section he will have more specific polls for each section.

If you have ever criticised the UI, or if you just have pet peeves about aspects here is your chance to have your voice heard. Please spread this around among your friends we want as much feedback as possible.

I can deal with the UI after playing with it for a few characters.

My main issue is the printout. PCGen puts little checkmarks on things which totally do not align with what Pathfinder uses little checks for so we all (or specifically me, since I'm busy and can't be bothered to be a walking Pathfinder encyclopedia) get very confused as to what is a class skill or whatever when reading it off my printed characters sheet.

Also, table tents would be nice. With AC and other useful info for the GM to look at instead of asking me the same questions every time he's about to roll a die in my direction.

The output sheets are mainly xml and html. If you want to design some tents we'll gladly put them in. :)

Use the form Luke!

I did! There was no additional feedback section, just the questions then POOF it's done.

Oh, well see... I kinda have a thing about registering on sites I'll probably never use again. I know most people just register for every forum that comes in front of them, but I'll just forget my login info, forget I ever was a member of that forum and a decade from now I'll get a randomly generated "Happy Birthday" message and I'll be "huh?"

Took me quite awhile to even bother registering here, and that was only because I had decided to become a contributing member of the community. Otherwise I'd still be lurking anonymously.

How about a chat room where you don't have to register? https://pcgen.hipchat.com/chat/room/1762484 or our G+ group (https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/112267547469109977778) or our FB page (https://www.facebook.com/PCGen/), or our Yahoo mailing list (https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/pcgen/info), or the linked post above have a Disqus app to post comments.

John is going to have more polls come out when he gets into each section. He's mainly dealing with the direct UI and not the output though.
