I feel like I'm missing something really obvious here. Is the 5e SRD module freely available? I was watching this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8uOdhB2GDoU&list=PL3h0dIaiayC_AW7djpTlriZEtg2WBCCvp&index=7) video on spell-casting and Doug refers to an included SRD for spells. In my 5e tutorial game, I only have access to 3 default modules (Calendars, Default fumbles..., and FG Battle Maps). I've checked my Modules folder and do not see anything for 5e.

How do I get the 5e SRD?

You need to either purchase Fantasy Grounds or have a subscription to it in order to access any of the 5e Content. I'm assuming that you are playing around with the demo version?

Hi again b1gBLACK - yeah the SRD is only shipped with licensed copies. Part of the license deal or some such.

Thanks Zacchaeus and Damned. I'm actually on the standard subscription. Should this be part of it?

Yes it should be included then.
You need to add your Forum username and password to the settings dialogue along with your subscription key.
Then run the update.
Create a new (or open an existing) 5e campaign and go to Library and Activate the SRD modules.

I've checked my Modules folder and do not see anything for 5e.
You won't see them in the \modules directory, most recent content is in the encrypted content vault and you can't see the files. As damned says, enter all of your info in the FG settings screen, run an update and then look in the Module Activation screen in the library of a 5E campaign. More info on module activation here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/index.php/Library#Module_Activation
