I recently subscribed to the ultimate monthly license and am running into things. Looks like Faerun 3.5 doesn't come native, as well I need to upload and edit the campaign i'll be running for my players. I have three or four very eager players that I'm moving to get a lot done for at the moment. getting stuck at adding damage dice to weapons in 3.5
figured out how to add spells (my first cooperative player is using the Duskblades from PHB II, so the spells are missing)

I made friends with and found my way here thanks to saithan who mentioned poking around the forums for help with modules and such.

would appreciate help, looking into youtube videos currently. I have a discord channel that I utilize regularly if you are familiar this join link should be good. I am in pacific mountain time. https://discord.gg/n3Vgnfu

This also probably seems backwards but converting stuff into 3.5 or 5e are kind of what i'm looking to do here.
As far as map packs go things I would be looking for would be conversions of Arcanum of Steamworks and Magicka Obscura, Path of Exile's Wraeclast all the way up through the fourth act, and Diablo 2 all acts. As well A Dinotopia setting would be wonderful, though that may take me scanning in my books and then creating stats from there. I'm setting up in Forgotten realms 3.5 currently.

I am running FG on Ubuntu Wine and loving it so far.

Welcome AncientArchaic
3.5e has a lot of automation but not to the level of 5e.
It also has a smaller selection of resources available to it than pathfinder.
Many spells do not have the automation you might think is possible mostly because it really is quite complex and rpgs vary a lot from table to table.
Look at existing spells, use the magnifying glass and make lots of dummy rolls, and then just add the spells in that your player has chosen - better yet - involve your player in the process so that she can do it herself in the future.
You might also open a second instance of FG and load up Pathfinder and some of its community modules and compare and see if that helps you learn the process.

I will most certainly look into it. Actually having an interested group is kind of causing me to learn it more rapidly. I will take a look at pathfinder as well.

getting stuck at adding damage dice to weapons in 3.5.
Click the magnifying glass to open the weapon entry on the actions tab, then drag the dice from the bottom left of the desktop and drop them in the "DAMAGE" section.

Thanks, A lot easier than how I was doing this, I'll go back and revise that character's info.
