I will start it off with recaps of our last 2 sessions.

Session 1
The Team was summoned to Jump corps sector HQ. At HQ the Team looked to have been railroaded at a tribunal for the loss of the Voltron Star but as luck would have it they were moved into the Special Operations section. From HQ they traveled to Onaris 4 and met their handler Nars Jenx. Nars assigned them a mission to take Professor Mars to Omariss III to capture a death worm. While hunting for the worm, it was hunting for you and disabled your APC. While attempting to repair the APC the team was attacked by 4 Death Worms, the team failed to capture any…since they were all dead. To repair the APC the team journeyed to a crashed Saltarian ship to acquire the parts needed for repair. Unbeknownst to you all a hive of Arc beetles had taken up residence within the crashed ship. You all quickly dispatched the beetles and were able to get the parts needed for repair. Also in the ****pit you discovered a mysterious metal case locked by an electronic lock and the ships weapons locker. ( To be continued........)

Session 2
After rummaging through the weapons locker you heard the dubious sounds of a tracked vehicle approaching. After Rigesh and Alistair conducted a short parley with Sub Lt. K'Tang, the Saltarian's opened fire on you all. The Saltarain infantry marched into the guns of your Team only to be wasted. Chief Cragg decided to rig a gyrozooka out of the remaining gyro pistols in order to take out the tank. Rigesh fired the contraption only to put a dent in the tank and then noticed that only half the rockets fired, Chief then repaired the weapon to be fired a second time. Rigesh took careful aim only to dent the tank again. Big Fat Ed made dash to draw the tanks fire...looks like the Saltarian gunner was put off by Ed's nimbleness and fired but did not take Ed down. The Tank beat a hasty retreat. The Team traveled back to the broken APC with the parts needed to repair it. While in sight of the APC, the Team was ambushed by the elusive Death worms. Rigesh was able to get off a one in a million shot and stun a worm, while the remainder of the Team sent the others to grass. Chief Cragg was able to repair the APC and the Team beat a hasty retreat back to the Odyssey. While traveling back Holly noticed that the Saltarian Cruiser and surrounding area was being obliterated by orbital bombardment. The Team arrives back at the Odyssey, secures the worm and APC, then makes preparations to blast off. (To be continued........)

Next Games Session: Wed 21 Sep @0800pm Est. (note please vote on the calendar) ( if you will be late or not attending please drop me a line)

Some house keeping notes:

Hiya Chief
Well we have a new join to the group. bezurn is rather new to FG and the Savage Worlds ruleset but enthusiastic to learn. We worked through some of his technical issues last night and got him on the server and team speak. We did a walkthrough of the character sheet, and some mock combat. He decided on taking one of the pregens, Science Officer Marc Fore , which will be a great asset to the party. We are still looking for one more full time player.

ALCON,
Our recruitment effort was a success. We have two new joins to our merry little band. Let us welcome Ecaza (Kyle)- Go'Obee and bezurn (Blair) - Marc Fore. Kyle is an old hat at Fantasy Grounds and the Savage Worlds rule set. He also has been gaming for over 30 years. Blair is a relative new comer to Fantasy Grounds and Savage worlds but has experience playing other rule sets. I will be sending a PM tomorrow as a game reminder and some house keeping notes. Gunbunnyfufu (Chris)- Alistair will be leaving a little early this Wednesday , so I will need someone to pick up his PC for the remainder of the session. See you all in two days.

Hi All,

I'm Blair, new to FG and Savage worlds. I look forward to gaming tomorrow and getting to know this group. Here is some basic info about me personally and my roleplaying background.

About Me
Age: 36 Male from Omaha, Nebraska
Just got married in Maui this summer, miss the beach
Work at as a helpdesk / server monitoring at a data center.

Roleplaying Background
Fate / Dresden Files - 1.3 years was my most recent game was with my old roommate and some of his friends.
DnD 3.5 - Have played a pickup game for a few sessions on Roll20, but nothing that lasted to long
I have watched a lot of youtube videos of DnD when I worked an overnight job. itmejp channel, silent0siris, Critial Roll / Geek and Sundry. I've been introduced to a lot of systems there.

So far my reading of the Savage Worlds rulebook seems to be a meld of 3.5, Shadowrun, and Fate. I look forward to learning more about it and have some fun with you all.

I am currently working on world building for a DnD 5e campaign I hope to run, but this is a slow and off and on project.

Hello everyone!

I don't want our GM to oversell me on FG. I have played in two games and am running an East Texas University game with a friend who lives in Thailand and another in North Carolina, but I'm not an expert. It seems that every time I play or run I find some new feature, so it's definitely been a learning experience. As for SW, I've been playing that for many years and it's become my favorite RPG system.

As far as other RPGs, I've probably played the majority of them out there, or at least I own the rulebooks and I've been playing for close to 30 years now. The past couple of years have been slow-going due to most of my gaming friends having other priorities, so I decided to give online RPing a try and have found it to be quite fun.

My character is a Serran Psychic Healer with some basic nature and survival skills. Think part fantasy druid, part Jedi and part faith healer and you'll have a good idea of what I'm shooting for. I'm looking forward to the game and thanks for letting me join!

Session 3 Recap:
The Team blasted off Omariss with a bang…that bang coming from the Saltarian Battleship in orbit. Luckily it missed and you all were able to fly the Odyssey into the storm and proceed to the far side of the planet. As you broke the atmosphere the Odyssey was jumped by two Saltarian fighters and one Cutter. The chase was on! Rigesh was able to blast one fighter to dust and Alistair was able to disable the second fighter with a well-placed fire from the laser turret. The Saltarian Cutter continued to close and two more fighter entered the fray. Again Holly deftly maneuvered the ship into a position that brought a Saltarin fighter under Rigesh’s guns and he wasted no time making space dust out of it. The fourth fighter soon met the fate of the previous three. The Odyssey had just cleared the gravity well when the Cutter came into range. The Odyssey and the Saltarian Cutter traded shots which were absorbed by both ship’s shields. Holly then punched the FTL and departed the Omariss System for Onaris IV. Nars met you all at the space port and you handed over the mysterious metal case. Nar's cracked the electronic lock and discovered Saltarian invasion plans of the UCP. Nars passed the information along to UCP and Jump Corps intel. divisions. With acquisition of the invasion plans and adulation from Professor Mars, the Team was able to retain the use of the Odyssey, a UCP flagged freighter for a indeterminate amount of time. Phat Ed seemed a little stressed after your last foray and went to see the Doc. It seems Phat Ed will need to undergo so heart surgery and lose some weight, so Phat Ed left the group for Rigellan’s fat farm. Nars sent out a request for new agents and received Go’Obee and Marc Fore to round out your Team. After a few more days seeing the sights on Onaris, you all received an urgent comm from Nars. He met you at the safe house and gave you a corporate espionage mission on Pronos at mining station P-06. You arrive, under the guise of a Quoran Company trouble shooter team, only to find the facility practically abandoned and the remaining miners hiding on the roof waiting for rescue. After speaking with the mining facilities administrator, Charl Oeusss, who regaled you all with a story of something in the mine that had killed some miners and they had escaped to the roof top and locked down the facility. Once restoring power to the doors, the team was able to slice into the lock overide and gain access. Once in the upper level the Team moved to the Control Room only to find the repair bots dismantling the console. If something was not done about the repair bots the ability to gain the refinement process would be lost. The Team jumped into action, leveled weapons and obliterated the bots before the last remnants of the console could be carried off. Chief Cragg was able to scrounge up enough parts to repair the console and the required data was down loaded. Go’Obee and Marc fore rendered aid to the incapacitate miner Irwin, they succeeded in saving his life but Irwin remains in a comatose state. The remainder of the Team moved through the upper level in an attempt to clear any remaining robots. They engaged and destroyed another half a dozen bots. (To be continued……….)

Session 4 Recap:

So after clearing the upper level of the mining facility and downloading the process data, the Team continued on down deeper into the facility. You all encountered bots in the foundry section which you quickly dispatched and were able to procure the Foundry module. You again took the stair down to the next level where you saw more bots going about dismantling the station. You observed them for a period, when all of a sudden they began attacking you. The Team made swift work and many junk piles out of the rouge robots. You boarded the elevator which took you to the final level and the ice mine. As you moved through the dark shafts of the mine, you observed parts of the above facility strewn about. You continued deeper and again ran into the supposedly dead miners and repair bot which attacked you on sight. The team was able to make short work of them and continued deeper into the mine. You entered a large cavern and saw bots and miners going about moving parts of machinery. When they noticed you they turned to attack. In the running gun battle with the bots, you got your first glimpse of the Suppression Pod. Regesh moved in for the kill but was struck down the tentacled monstrosity. The team fanned out to fire on the Pod as it slowly dragged Regesh to it. Marc fore and Go’Obee rushed to aid Regesh and pry him loose from the Pod. They had no success, Chief Cragg, Holy and Alistair continued Hammer away at the Pod with Lasers and hand flammers until it finally succumbed to its wounds. Chief noted the Suppression Pod was building a space craft for itself and would have completed it in about 12 hours. Behind the Pod the Team found the Nebrilium Ore sample needed by Jump Corps. You returned to the surface and let the administrator know that the issue had been resolved and returned to Onaris IV for debrief. (To be continued…….)

Team,

As some of you may know Daedalus (Holly) spoke about not being able to continue playing with us. Last session he stayed on to let me know he will be dropping from our group. His reason was that you all sucked. J/K No it was due to the classes he was taking and needing to free up time to dedicate to real life things. He said he enjoyed playing with the group and that I was the greatest GM that ever lived. I left an open invitation for his return when and if able to join us again. He was not too keen on how I would RP Holly out of our group. The whole returning to exotic dancing thing, so I will come up with something else. Daedalus, I would personally like to thank you for letting me sit in on your sessions and observe. It was a great help to me on learning the system and setting. I have enjoyed being a part of the Team and Gming your PC. I will definitely miss our curmudgeon.

Team,
I set the dates 5 and 19 Oct, skipping the 12th. The week of FG con I have not scheduled any session on Wednesday. This is to allow you guys to schedule games during that time…and myself. But will also allow me to gain a little ground on you guys. I am putting together a big one but it is time consuming and I need to gain a week on you all IOT get it up and ready to play. Right now I am about 2 thru 3 ish weeks ahead if I had to, but I am hoping to get a little more of a sandbox for you all instead of- Oh we lost communication…go smash bugs, Or there is this derelict ship and…, can you escort Professor X to planet Z….you get my drift. \

Ecaza,
To answer your question . You can retain the cyberware but you will have to pay 75% of the SciFi companion cost.....which if my memory serves me will come to 7500 credits. Or the Medical Droid can remove it at no cost.

Session 5 Recap:
You returned to Onaris IV for some well deserved R&R after the battle with Suppression Pod. While dirtside you hit up the local shops. While there Holly and Rigesh was summoned away to Jump Corps regional base. Rigesh returned after having been subjected to an intense crash course in Astrogation. He said Holly would not be returning and had been reassigned to another Team in need of her piloting skills. Nars approached the Team with what looked to be a milk-run delivery of refining repair parts to Senio. You arrive to Senio with incidence and deliver the much needed repair parts. While dirtside on Senio you discover an outpost even more backwater than Onaris IV. The Team receives a holographic communication on the secure channel and with the correct authentication codes from Procurator Bek, an upper level Jump Corps bureaucrat. He assigns you a mission to go to the Omicron system’s planet Tomb. Jump Corps has lost communication with a crucial research facility run by Dr. Emil Zarin. You were tasked with recovering Dr. Zarin and if he is deceased or cannot be found, you are to recover his research data and any artifacts.

The Team proceeds to the Omicron system and to the planet Tomb without any issues. You all hop the shuttle to the research facility, only to find it a ghost town. Within the hangar and Lab building you discover the signs of a prolonged firefight and find two of the security team dead and a mysterious hole in the ground. Following the bread crumbs you proceed down the hole into a tunnel. As the Team moved down the tunnel, you were ambushed by the insectoid Star Cultist. Rigesh charged into the fray but soon was overcome by a hail of blaster fire. With the battle’s outcome in doubt the remaining team members charged in with weapons blazing. The sheer volume of fire overwhelmed the insectoid’s pickets. As the team continued deeper into the cavern a second but smaller group of star cultist opened fire. Chief Cragg and Marc Fore closed on the last remaining Star Cultist. Marc had decided to take one alive and fired his stun gun, only to trip and hit the Chief. Chief was lucky enough to shake off the blast, when Alistair moved up and riddled the last bug with a hail of laser fire. The Team discovers a young female, who turns out to be Skye Weedo, Dr. Zarin’s assistant. She fills you in about the attack of the Star Cultist and that the Doctor had left prior to the attack with the Umbra Matrix artifact to the Umbra system. The Team uses the refuel facilities at the research station and prepares to proceed to the Umbra system, in hopes of finding the doctor and the Umbra Matrix. (To be continued………..)

Session Recap 6:
The Team departs the planet Tomb and the Omicron system, en-route to the Umbra system hot on the trail of Dr. Zarin and the star cultist. Upon arrival you observe a gargantuan ship in close orbit around Umbra’s small red dwarf star. Scans of the ship show normal power reading but no weapons signatures. You all approach in the Odyssey and attempt to hail the Collector ship, you do not receive a response but a docking beacon activates and the hangar doors open. You proceed inside the Collector’s ship huge hangar and discover two other ships present. One is the Frontier (Dr. Zarin’s ship) and the other a small tramp freighter used by the Star Cultist. The Team decides to search the Frontier for the doctor only to discover he departed the ship almost a week ago and his research holograms. After clearing the Frontier the team begins its search of the Collector ship for the elusive doctor. The sheer magnitude of the ships size makes the search daunting but Chief Cragg and Marc Fore were able to access a data terminal and determine the location of Dr. Zarin and also a Star Cultist, named J”Fell, who is now part of the ship’s collection. As you proceed into the interior of the collector ship you see thousands of displays. All sorts of Xeno’s are here, various artifacts and technological wonders. The team made its way to J’Fell and questions the insectoid. You learned about the Star Cultist and their motivation to bring forth the dark one and cleanse the system of their enemies. Once your interrogation was complete you proceed to the doctor and the Umbra Matrix. You find the doctor inputting the final data into the Umbra Matrix. The doctor works like a man possessed and is very excited about completing the enigma equation. As you converse with the doctor, the Star Cultist appear and a firefight ensues. As fast as the fight started, it is stopped by a force field and the collector ship speaks to you all. The collector ship explains that there is two outcomes from the final inputs. The first would be to awaken the dark god of the star cultist and the other would be something wonderful. The outcome would depend upon you escaping the collector ship. You begin the gauntlet to get back to your ship. As you move to your ship the force field containing the various displays turnoff and numerous Xeno’s move about the corridors. Most are harmless but some attack. To make matters worse you are dogged by the Star cultist at every turn. Along the way you fought wire rats, a Dinjin, and a Cyborg commando but also collected some artifacts like the sonic screwdriver, the XM-1 laser rifle, and scout battle armor. The team assembles on the Odyssey and makes preparations to blast off. With the time running out Rigesh attempts to input the data for a FTL jump. The star begins collapsing on itself and then a bright light erupts and an energy wave begins moving at the speed of light outward destroying everything in its path. With the ship shaking and alarms blaring Rigesh continues desperately to clear the gravity well enough to make the jump. Just as the energy wave approaches to destroy you all, the data computes and the FTL kicks you into hyperspace. You observe the birth of a strange phenomenon a White hole. You continue back to Onaris IV and submit the after action report to Nars , who thanks you for a job well done. The beleaguered Team has some downtime and rest after the hard fought escape from the collector ship. (To be continued…….)

Session 7 Recap:
The Team returned to Onaris IV battered and bruised. Nars received your debrief and thanked you for handling the situation. Though the wounds were healed, the scars and fatigue of hard fought escape from the Collector Shape had significantly drained the Team. You all rest and relax, conduct routine maintenance to your equipment and souls. You begin to hear rumors of a strange virus moving through the sector the Nigerian Flu they call it. It seems to effect all sentient races and even constructs. Go’Obee does some inquiries into the malady and discovers its symptoms are harsh and at this time incurable. Go’Obee also discovers that Jump Corps has a possible vaccination for the Flu and enlists Nars to acquire some for the Team. A couple of days later the vaccinations arrive and the Team conducts a shot call. It seems the cure may be worse than the sickness. The shots side effects are a low grade fever for 24 hours, possible hallucinations, and bad dreams or night terrors. After the vaccinations the Team carry’s on with routine activities until the weariness of the day over takes them, and they fall into a fitful slumber.
In the early morning you are awoken by Nars, he has a Search and Rescue mission for the Starlancer Corporation. It seems they have lost communication with the Mining/Refinery ship Kobold who was conducting survey and mining operations. Among the communications of their 3 week survey/mining mission the Kobold seemed to discover a strange crystal, which could be a new type of power source, and some sort of bio mass. The Team’s mission is the rescue or recovery of the crew, if this is not possible, determine the cause and salvage anything of use.
You all make preparations to depart and leave around noon Onaris Standard Time. The trip to the asteroid belt is uneventful. Upon arriving system scans easily find the Kobold in the asteroid field. As you close to intercept, you observe a debris field in the vicinity of the Kobold which looks to be caused by the destruction of the space dock and parts of the crew compartments. The Team decides to take the shuttle through the debris field and gain entry through the hull breech within the crew compartments. You leave Marc Fore behind to monitor the situation from the Odyssey, while the rest of the Team conducts the SAR. Rigesh deftly flies Odyssey 1, the shuttle, through the debris field and lands adjacent to the breech. You begin your search of the ship finding destruction and what looks to be fighting through numerous compartments. On the bridge you find a dead Kalian and the epicenter of the explosion which breeched the hull. In the med lab you discover Dr. Ahmed’s data pad and access his notes. The most disturbing information was the video of the space cocoons and the escape of the tentacle monster which looked to have killed the doctor. When you reach the galley Alistair runs into 4 repair drones which ask him his allegiance. Alistair state Jump Corps and then the robots attack. The Team quickly dispatched the drones and continued its search. Upon reaching the crew quarters you all discover a Rakashan unconscious and barely alive. As you were recovering the unconscious crew member Marc Fore Coms the Team about a hull breach in engineering and that he was moving to investigate, Marc then reports a failure in the artificial gravity, he then reports arriving to engineering when a burst of white noise and static come through the coms then nothing. The loss of ships communication was troubling but even more so was the loss of local coms in the space suits. The Team decides to use PDD’s for local cams and to evac back to the Odyssey. The Team returns to the ship with the Rakashan in tow. You arrive to find system failures and move to engineering, where you link up with Marc. Marc had closed the hull breech but also discovered an access panel ajar. While the Team was deciding a course of action, the life support system failed. Chief, being the most familiar with the ships systems, volunteered to go into the access tunnel a root out the saboteur and repair the damage. While in the crawl space repairing life support Chief Cragg was attacked by a strange squid like Xeno, which suddenly retreated. Chief was able to repair all the failed systems and return to engineering. While Chief was not able to clear the access tunnels of the saboteur Xeno he did get the repairs done. The Team was deciding their next action, hull breech alarms begin sounding in the forward cargo compartment. (To be continued…………)

Session 8 Recap:
After the hull breach in the forward cargo bay, the Team rushed into action. They moved tactically into the bay only to find nothing but a one meter hole in the port cargo door. Marc Fore and Regesh sweeped the Odyssey with potable and ships sensor suites but found nothing. Go’obee recovered Korpesh from the shuttle and worked to stabilize the Rakshan. Through his medical expertise he was able to save Kopeshes life. The Team then broke up into two search parties and did a thorough search of the Odyssey for the alien squid creature but found nothing. Alistair reported your finding to Jump Corps command with thoughts of leaving the Kobold to a Jump Corps salvage crew. During the conversation Jump Corps was adamant that all Kobold crew members be accounted for and those alive be rescued and those dead noted for later recovery. With kobold crew members still unaccounted for the Team decided to go back to the Kobold. Chief Cragg and Marc fore remained behind on the Odyssey to care for Korpesh and the ship respectively. Rigesh and the remainder of the Team again attempted to pilot the shuttle through the asteroid field but was not able to close with the Kobold. The Team had to go EVA and move to the breach in the Kobold. Once there it was decided to break up into two further Teams consisting of Alistair and Go”Obee in one and Ragesh and Thori in another. The two Teams finished searching the Crew Deck. Alistair and Go’obee ran into more reprogramed robots and a fight ensued but the robots were quickly dispatched. Go’Obee conducted a search computer records and found of note the entry about the crystal and its possible damping by EMP. After the computer search Go’Obee and Alistair searched the lab to find the crystal hidden below a deck plate. Go’Obee recovered the crystal but in doing so received a strange sensation of something attempting to touch his mind. Marc Fore also reported the same sensation while treating Korpesh aboard the Odyssey. Thori and Regesh found another crew member’s body during their search. The two Teams continued the searching the engine room and refinery. Go”obee and Alistair found nothing unusual in the main engine room, other than the various ships systems being disabled. The second Team of Regesh and Thori searched the refinery section and found the body of the ship’s captain, Clark Tulane. Captain Tulane had been torn to shreds by something. Thori and Regesh continued the search of the refinery and were ambushed by the alien squids. They were able to recover from the ambush and in a hard fought battle succeeded in sending the squids to the deep. Hearing comms of the ensuing battle Alistair and Go’Obee moved to reinforce their friends. They arrive just as Thori puts down the last squid. The two SAR teams are discussing what has transpired and their future course of action. (To be continued…….)

Upon investigating you discovered Thori in a rage. The Team promptly attempted to subdue Thori as he tried to cut a swath through you all and escape. Recap:
As the grind progressed with the contract, some team members are beginning to show signs of fatigue. On a night time foray to the casino lady Murnst was attacked by two assassins. The quick reactions of the team and Bilz's strange abilities coupled with his laser katana made short work of the hired killers. As Regesh and Alistair moved to assist in the battle, Regesh noticed something strange out a window port. The ship seemed to be tumbling out of control into the the large Red stars gravity well and by his estimates the ship would reach the point of no return within two hours. The team and their principle rallied back in the VIP billeting, where they came up with a plan assisted by Bilz. Bilz would seal the VIP area off and protect Lady Murnst with the help of two warbots. The team’s mission was to reestablish control to the ship and if not able, then they were to take a shuttle and evacuate Lady Murnst. Because time was of the essence, you all decided to break up into three teams.

Rigesh was to secure a shuttle on deck 4, Chief and G'Obee were to move to engineering and try to restore power on Deck 1, Alistair and Mare Fore moved to Deck 5 in order to secure the bridge. Along the way to all three locations the team observed the carnage wrought by battle. Ships security, patrons, and Ships crew dead littered the passages ways, subjects of a violent firefights. Regesh entered the shuttle area and ran into Ship's Security. As he approached they turned their weapons on him and battle ensued. Outnumbered, Regesh moved into a shuttle and locked down the hatch. He attempted to depart in the shuttle, only to find out it had been disabled. With assistance from Chief via coms, Regesh attempted to repair the damage and get the shuttle back operational. Regesh almost had had the shuttle operational when the hatch opened and two security guards rushed in to attack. Regesh fought valiantly and before he succumbed to his wounds comm'd his comrades that he had failed to secure the shuttle.

Alistair and Marc Fore moved onto the command deck. At the entrance to the bridge they discovered a security trooper. True to form this individual was an imposter and opened fire. Marc moved in and disarmed the trooper while Alistair supported by fire from the rear. Suddenly, another hatch opened in the corridor and another trooper attacked Marc from the rear. Alistair opened fire and riddled the assassin with holes. The battle continued and Marc was severely damaged and withdrew out of the line of fire as other assassins joined the fight. Marc and Alistair are fighting for their lives as the assassins close in. (To be continued….)

Session Recap:
We left off with Regesh in dire straits on the shuttle deck. He fought the good fight but was overwhelmed by the assassins. Alistair and Marc Fore were battling for their lives on the bridge, when things turned in their favor. The assassin’s weapon malfunctioned and detonated like a thermal grenade. This explosion not only killed him out right but seriously injured his comrade who attempted to flee but was cut down. Chief and Go’Obee decided to try an alternate route to the engine room. Crawling through the interior of the ship, they were able to sneak into the engine room through an access hatch and got the drop on their would be assailants. A fight ensued but the assassins were quickly overcome by surprise and the ferocity of their attack. Once all enemy targets were down Chief set to work defusing the explosive device while Go’Obee administered first aid to the ships chief engineer. As time ticked down Chief Cragg was able to defuse the bomb and Go’Obee was able to get the ship’s engineer conscious enough to tell Cragg the lock out codes. Cragg brought the ship engines back online and contacted Alistair on the bridge. Meanwhile on the bridge Marc Fore was able to reder aid to the only surviving bridge crew member, the ships first officer. Once power was restored the 1st officer was able to navigate the ship out of the star’s gravity well and to safety. The 1st officer sent out a distress signal. The Team linked up outside the shuttle deck for a rescue attempt of Regesh. When they arrived the found no Regesh and numerous dead assassins. With the help of the remaining ships security and the 1st officer, the team managed to secure the ship and acquire their stowed equipment. Finally the Team returned to the VIP quarters to check on Lady Murnst. Upon arrival they did not find the lady or her entourage but did find Regesh severely wounded and unconscious. They also found a taped message left by Bliz. The recording explained that Bliz had secured a shuttle, rescued Regesh, and spirited Lady Murnst to safety. The last portion was to ensure the Team that he would be in contact and agreed payment would be made. The Team was paid hush money and signed a non-disclosure agreement with the Starliner company as to what had transpired aboard the ship. You all returned back to Onaris where you were met by Nars. Nars probed into what had happened but the Team did no disclose the events. Later on Nars spoke with the Team about the incident, as he had found out through other contacts. He told you of the group that had attempted to kill the lady was known as the “Black Sun” . The black sun is an intergalactic crime organization and would likely seek retribution on the Team. Nars suggested the Team get off world and lay low. Soon after this revelation Bliz shows up with payment and an offer of a job from his benefactor. Bliz’s benefactor turns out to the Duke Leto Atreides and his daughter Pauline was actually Lady Murnst. Nars spoke with you before departing and encouraged you to work with the Duke since it met with Jump Corps objectives. The team traveled to the Atreides homeworld and met in secret with the Duke. After some negotiation the Team agreed to the Duke’s request. You are to kidnap the Baron Vladimir Harkonnen and bring him before the Duke for attempting to assassinate his daughter , Pauline. You are now awaiting a mission briefing from Bliz. (To be continued….)
