Availability: Flexible. I don't work a set schedule but I can free up a day with sufficient notice. I get off in the evenings and can be available for late-night games beginning after 10:00 PM PST (GMT-8).
Voice: Willing to download whatever program is used.
Fantasy Grounds Experience: None but I'm a quick learner.
My name is Jeff, I'm a mature gamer that has lost all interest in video games and looking for something challenging, both in size and difficulty. Most of all, I want to become part of a group of serious players that are focused on long-term campaign play where we will accomplish wonders -- or die trying!
My primary RPG experience comes from World of Warcraft (vanilla, Cata, WoD) where I played a traditional sword-and-board Protection Warrior and tanked normal and some heroic-level raid content. I would like to continue that role in whatever game I'm playing and try to have encounters be as challenging as possible. If a 'tanking' role isn't available, I'd love to play a two-handed weapon user or some other heavy melee-damage class.
I'm a complete rookie to tabletop games apart from a couple games of 40K at a Games Workshop years ago, but I've read through the Pathfinder Beginner Box material and enough of the CRB to not need too much hand-holding for this particular rule set.
In terms of gameplay, my preferred situation would be using voice chat for OOC and text for IC. That's just a preference and I'm willing to primarily use voice. I don't have a cam so video is out for me.
