I hope it's just wild internet speculation, because I'd miss the novels. Aren't R.A. Salvatore's novels repeatedly on the NYT besteller lists? I wish they would just sponsor Ed Greenwood to do nothing but churn out novels and realmslore to be published in nice hardcovers :p
