I'm doing what any good DM does; create awesome NPCs with all the cool gear I wish I had as a PC :)

Sorry if this is elsewhere; I've searched, not finding it..

Regarding a Vorpal Sword, which "the weapon ignores resistance to slashing damage". How can I code that into the properties field?

Thanks!

I assume 5e? If it's anywhere, it would be in the 5E forums (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?68-5E) or effects wiki (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/index.php/5E_Effects). I don't think you can do it (I can't think of anyway to do it). But there are a couple of guru's who will jump in soon and give you a definitive answer.

Yes for 5e.

I found all kinds of other things that can be added to properties via searching, but just not this one so far...

Thanks!

There isn't a way to add something like this to the weapon properties, and I can't think of any way to get this kind of effect onto an NPC either (nor a PC for that matter).
Usually resistance to slashing damage is limited to non magical weapons so the magic property on the sword will cover those situations. However where the resistance is also against magic you are sturuggling. This is one of the annoying exceptions to the normal rules which FG can't (yet) cater for.

K, no problem, will just adjust manually and monitor for any future updates.

Thanks for the confirmation!!
