Waht is the Adv. field on the NPC sheet

sorry if this is a noob question but I can't seem to find a field by field descriptions for the sheet. Does anyone know what the Adv. field after languages is for?

It's the "Advancement" field, as found in 3.5E monster entries, which was dropped in PFRPG: https://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/intro.htm#advancement

It generally lists the range of increased HD a monster can have, along with any associated size increases. For example, the entry for aboleth (which ordinarily has 8 HD and is Huge) is "9-16 HD (Huge); 17-24 HD (Gargantuan)". For some creatures, it simply says "By character class".
