Can we each have our own username/password and subscription account? We only have one paypal account.

And if he purchases upgrades, like the complete D&D core class, I wouldn't have access to them for creating characters, correct?

Hi Wintermist welcome to FG and to the community.

You can't share an account by having different log in information. You would each have to have a separate account.
not sure how you get around the one PayPal account thing but someone else will know (if that is actually a problem that is).
If one of you has the Complete Core Class pack then the other can join that game and make characters.
One thing, unless you are both going to be the DM then you only need one Ultimate account. The other doesn't need an account at all. The demo licence is all you would need.

Only one subscription per PayPal account I'm afraid: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/faq.php?faq=license_and_purchasing_issues#faq_subm ultipleaccounts

If only one of you will GM then the Ultimate subscription might be the way to go as Zacchaeus suggests. Or one full subscription and one full permanent license. Or a second PayPal account...

A second PayPal account requires a second bank account. PayPal only allows one account per bank account.

You can always go buy a steam card and purchase the 2nd account threw Steam...

Hhhmm, I wasn't aware of this.

This PayPal customer support entry suggests that it is possible: https://www.paypal.com/selfhelp/article/FAQ1838/8
And a bank account is not mentioned here: https://www.paypal.com/selfhelp/article/FAQ2080

Maybe the requirement for a bank account has changed?

Not if you want to subscribe rather than outright purchase. Subscriptions are only available through PayPal.

Yeah, they've always said it's available "with approval". However, I've never heard of anyone getting "approval".

Welcome Wintermist.
Is one of you going to be a GM or are you both looking for player subscriptions?
If one of you is a GM then that person could get the Ultimate and the other can join as a demo.

If (for whatever reason) you end up with a single license and you are both players you can take turns at the computer switching characters simply by double clicking portraits.

I dont think you will be able to get two subscriptions. If you are both going to be players and both using a separate computer one of you may need to buy outright...
