I thought I would ask before taking a ton of hours off my life learning to hack the Core system in FG.
I am planning on running a game that uses difficulty dice. The game is a homebrew that is based on the One World of Darkness D10 system where you set a difficulty and roll against that.
Item 1:
I was wondering if anyone already figured out a way to do this with the dice (ie roll 5d10 difficulty X and it return a success for each dice that is >=X [where X is set by the situation]). To up the difficulty level a bit more subtracting successes for each 1.
Can this be done in our world? Where is the best place to get started to do this kind of thing?
Item 2:
I want to make sure i have the latest MoreCore. I was on the website and I see the latest update was on (3/2/16) but I have seen post around mid July where damned has posted something along the lines of "an update should be out soon".
Is the MoreCore rules going to be integrated into FG now rather than a downloadable ext? Are there cool features I should wait for before I get started?
Any help will be welcomed.
