Hello!

Im new to Fantasy Grounds, but am loving it so far to run my campaigns, getting my druid player setup and we were trying to add Shillelagh as an effect to change the damage dice from 1d6 (from weapon) to 1d8, read through the effects wiki and I *think it will do what I want, but when I add the effect (action) of 1d8; Bludgeoning, and do an dmg roll, both dice seem to roll together (1d6 + 1d8), is there a way of ignoring the 1d6 when the effect is on? I saw in another thread that an alternative is to create another weapon that has the 1d8 and have in brackets Shillelagh..

thanks for the advice!

Hiadrianlim welcome to FG and to the community.

There is no effect which will do this. The only method is to create a new weapon line in the actions tab with the increased damage for when thr spell is active. The player just has to remember which line to use and when. As you discovered differentiate the second weapon line by including shillelaghs in brackets after the weapon name.
